On November 2009, Toyota was first recalled to correct a fix an out of place front driver’s seat floor mat, which was causing pedal entrapment. Two months later, Toyota was recalled again due some crashes that was led by floor mat incursion, also known as sticky accelerator pedal. Although Toyota had recalled these cars, Toyota admits not covering all cars and even stated that there was another reason for “sticky” gas pedals, according to an interview held by ABC news write Brian Ross. Recently, Toyota has paid a $1.2 billion deal/fine to the United States due to the safety problem. However, this may not be the end to Toyota’s intentional mistakes. Toyota is being used by someone or group, in order to attack Americans indirectly. The goal of this proposal is to disclose this person or group, and give a brilliant solution upon how to completely exterminate the problem. With the use of logos, the reader will be convinced upon who is indirectly attacking the United States with malfunctioning car. Pathos will be used to help readers understand the altitude of the problem and why action must be taken. Lastly, ethos is used throughout this proposal to help show readers how other proposals will not work against America’s mysterious enemy. With the help of the three rhetorical devices, this proposal can pass and American drivers can be protected in the future.

The main question is who is helping Toyota create malfunctioning cars? According to British Broadcasting Corporation, Toyota has agreed to a $1.2 billion deal with the United States safety probe. The problem with this deal is that Toyota is helping its origin country, Japan, conceal their master plan against the United States. This master plan is a big problem that will affect not only the citizens of the United States, but also the future generation. The main problem is that Toyotas has been manufacturing defect cars in the U.S. Over the past four years, American car regulators have been investigating on these defective cars and safety issues. Based on their research, Toyota has recalled over ten million cars over issues with brakes, accelerator pedals and floor mats. In addition, Toyota has intentionally concealed information about the defective cars, according to Attorney General Eric Holder. “This has been the largest criminal penalty yet imposed on a carmaker in the US” states Attorney General Eric Holder. This brings up the question, why did Toyota purposefully manufacture malfunctioning cars?
