Women entrepreneurs are a special breed. They seem to have something extra special or an X factor to them compared to the men. Although many entrepreneurs are men, women are slowly discovering the world of entrepreneurship and making drastic changes in their own way. Toni Maraviglia is one of the founders of Eneza (formerly known as MPrep). Aside from being a co-founder, she is also the CEO of the company. Her company and her product are based on education and technology.
Eneza works as a text messaging service where students can learn and review lessons. Students can pick a subject and a short quiz based on that. The data collected from the student’s performance in quizzes can be accessed by teachers and parents. Additionally, data can also be compared to other students’ within the country. This makes the data more useful and efficient, especially in terms of gauging student performance. The process is also streamlined since it uses mobile phones, bypassing test papers for students and grade records for teachers.
The service is also flexible; any area that has a mobile connection can use it. Another advantage of Eneza is that the students are actually having fun while learning and they can use their own mobile to do so. Most of the Eneza’s customers are young students who are poor and needed to prepare for school and national exams.

Toni Maraviglia has a lot on her plate as an entrperneur and she’s a very busy lady. Her challenges might be big (funding, investments, innovations, logistics, day-today operations, reaching her targets and others) but she’s hopeful that she can persevere. Also, the joy of helping students learn and learning for their success is paramount to a teacher’s heart. As students arrive in the morning with their mobile devices, students cycle through their core classes (English, Math, Science, History, and Language). These abbreviated mini periods enable students to access and collaborate around a complete digital curriculum available via the suite of web-based resources found in the Ed Box curriculum management system. The teacher is a facilitator and works seamlessly with the system and students to present new topics as well assesses their understanding. Teachers in the classes roam about assisting students individually as they work on their mobile devices and work in small groups to navigate through the curriculum. These students deftly toggle among various resources delivered via the student portal, tracking progress via the data served up on the intuitive dashboard console.

When I was growing up, I remember attending elementary school, learning a new language seems to be difficult at first, but I was able to learn the English language because of the dedication of one of my teachers.
