Time Traveler Who would've thought time traveling was possible? I didn't, not until I found my dad's suitcase. It was a cold day in Los Angeles, my mom and I were cleaning the garage piling all of my dad's old stuff together. It would've been easier to deal with his death if he didn't passed away a year ago. No one knew about his death or anything that's why there was no news about it until now. I kept thinking to myself "man, I've only talked to him twice in my life and now he's gone forever. I wish I could just see him one more time." As i start to space out, my mom yelled "stop spacing out and help me with these boxes dude!" Panicking, "Ok, ok!" She lets out a huge sigh and pulls out a black suitcase, "Hm, I've never seen this suitcase before." It was a regular suitcase with a keypad on the side. "Can I keep this mom? It looks cool." I asked. "Help me clean up first dude." she said while throwing the suitcase to me. It was lighter than I thought, the suitcase felt empty like there weren't anything in there except for some papers. Little did I know that the object inside will change the way I look at history forever. After a delicious beef curry dinner my mom made, I rush to my room to check out the suitcase. i say to myself with excitement, "let's find out what awesome things are in here." I guarantee you that no one expected the item in the box to be a regular pair of glasses. "Glasses? really? big suitcase with passcode to keep one pair of glasses." I was disappointed but I wasn't ready to give up hope for something cool. I've been watching this show called "Chuck" on Netflix lately, so I was thinking these could be a secret spy glasses to something. I examined the everything, but it just looks like a regular pair of glasse... ... middle of paper ... ...tographic dry plates for photographers. In 1885, Eastman introduced the first transparent photographic film. # years later, the Kodak camera was born and it revolutionized the whole camera industry. Anyone can take a picture and have it turn into a photo. The kodak camera was affordable and good for transportation. After I help Eastman make the machine to mass-produce, I returned home. As I sit on my bed, I think back to all the historical events I visited with the time machine. It was a crazy experience that helped me understand history more and made it fun. What's a better way to learn about the past than time traveling? I will keep this time traveling glasses for my kids and grandkids. I'll find a better and more high-tech looking container to put it in. I'll do something amazing so my kids and grandkids can experience the cool things I did when I was their age.
