And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. (Genesis 3:4-5)
We know, according to Genesis 1:31, that all of God’s creation was precisely as He would have it to be. There was nothing lacking in it, neither was there anything lacking in the man that He had created. His eyes were not 'shut ' in that his understanding and knowledge were not deficient. He understood all that God had ordained that he should understand; he saw all things as God would have him see them; he determined all things according to God 's wisdom and will. He was not God, and could never be God, for he could not see, know and determine as God does. This is particularly true in the case of ‘good’ and ‘evil’ in the absolute sense of these concepts. That man lacked the acumen to determine such is immediately evident in the fact that he could not perceive the absolute 'goodness ' of his Creator, and remain in obedience to Him, but yielded to the 'evil ' of the Serpent, and rebelled.
The Bible teaches us that “in Adam all die” (1 Corinthians 15:22). It teaches us that all human beings are formed in iniquity and conceived in sin …show more content…

This is a mandatory appearance, before the Lord Jesus, and the ‘good’ or ‘bad’ considered is not according to man’s estimation but to Jesus assessment, and according to His word, the Holy Bible. The only way that we can be justified in God’s sight, the only way that the final and terrible sentencing of the Lord can be avoided, is if we are truly born-again, new creatures in Christ, redeemed souls who love and believe God and have the fruits of devotion to and obedience of God to show for
