In 2078, air pollution becomes really bad in the world that people start builds a giant tall building to where they can live. Inside the giant-tall building, the world called the Titamentum (Tutamentum inspiration).
The world is divided into 3 parts. Green, yellow and red districts. Green district is the part that human civilization can still live in and still surrounded by natural plant and animal life. The rich live here at the. The yellow district being the parts of nature still fighting against the pollution. The middle class people live here, seeking out of a living. And Red District being the toxic wastelands caused by pollution. Although, it should not even possible for humans to live in Red District the poor people live in this district.
Everyone in the Titamentum, living in a boring, monotone life. They do the same thing every day. They never do anything fun or fascinating. They only entertain themselves by talking to each other as that the only thing the Maxius Corporation allowed them to do. There is no colour in the life of Titamentum people and they believe in no hope for the Maxius Corporation set doctrine.
Somewhere in the Green District, there is a group of microbiologist working on a new mutation that can combat the effects of pollution plus restore the ecosystem of the Yellow District and overtime the Red district back to normal. This task that has given out to the group of microbiologist is against the Maxius Corporation since currently they are the ones in power.
One day, one microbiologist named Xavier discovers this great solution in his lab. He has been working intelligently on the formula since he arrived at the Titamentum. He was overjoyed by his own discovery that he published his great solution. It...

...at they are the good guys.
However, the broadcaster mention the word ‘terrorists’ gives Xavier an idea. He remembered that there was once a group of terrorist in the Yellow District tried to upset the Corporation. So, he runs to the Yellow District seeking for help. But as soon as he enters the Yellow District, he does not have to search at all. The terrorist organisation has sent a representative to pick him up.
As the representative from the terrorist organisation walks with Xavier, they discovered that they shared much of the same values. As time passed by, they finally arrived at the secret hideout of the terrorist organisation. Instead of finding an old facility that he thought there would be lot of guns, a half district that full of plants amazed him. This is where the terrorist mastered the science to modify a formula to resist the pollution.
In the book, The Andromeda Strain there is a problem that faces mankind. This problem is a strange virus that comes to Earth from an unmanned satellite, which was in space. This satellite crashes into a small town in Arizona, which has a population of 38 people.
There are many key elements such as the historical, social and economic circumstances which separate the different families into rich and poor. This division that is made between the population can be identified as the primary source of evil and suffering in the world.
...11, page 25) Within the next few pages, he reveals his massive plan which is to teleport an alien like creature to New York, which will kill half of the people living there. While ultimately this did work, there is no denying that he used a terrible means to achieve his ends.
In Michael Crichton’s book, The Andromeda Strain, an unknown bacteria was found on a satellite sent by the military to space. This bacteria invaded the town of Piedmont, Arizona and killed all but two: a baby and an old man. A team of four men: Dr. Jeremy Stone, a scientist and the leader of Wildlife; Dr. Mark Hall, a surgeon; Dr. Charles Burton, a pathologist and professor at Baylor Medical School; and Dr. Peter Leavitt, a microbiologist that treats infectious diseases, worked at a secret government facility in Nevada called Project Wildfire to study the “Andromeda Strain,” and figure out what is killing the people in Piedmont. This story took place over a five day period.
It is difficult for humans to give up profits and sacrifice themselves to guard nature world. Although the world notice that using excessive resources the earth provide can lead to devastating result. Concerning the progress of urbanization and industrialization, China does not have too much policy to protecting the nature because it is trade off between economic and environment. The Chinese government chooses to grow China’s economic in order to decrease poverty regardless the population they would create. People’s unlimited want disrupt people put full effort in protecting the nature world. Because of human’s unlimited wants, humans take more and more from the environment in order to improve living standards. Nonetheless, the sacred resources that provided by earth are not enough for people.
While Pasteur was at Lille, a local distiller sought help controlling the fermentation of beet sugar. Pasteur realized that fermentation was not a simple chemical process but that living organisms were involved. This led him to discover that fermentation, infection, and spoiling were the result of microbes. The first paper he published discussed lactic acid and it’s role in souring milk. He spent numerous years studying microbes and proving that they do not originate from within matter, but that they come in from the outside. He eventual...
Timothy McVeigh was said to have been acting out of revenge for the Waco Compound seizure and attack by bombing the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City exactly 2 years later on April 19, 1995. There is little evidence that McVeigh was a member of any organization, and had only attended a few militia meetings (Grosscup, 117). The fact that the doomsday organization was preparing for the end of the world could very well have lead them to take an offensive action, just like McVeighs’, to facilitate their goals.
The issue of domestic terrorism has been a fairly recent phenomenon. With little attention given until such acts as the Oklahoma City Bombing and the Unabomber made national headlines. It is because of this that there has been little research done on the area and most of the research there is focuses on the hate groups associated with the acts of violence. A strong force in the domestic terrorist movement is the fervent anti-government stance that these groups internalize. As Mark Hamm wrote in 1997, “I used the term apocalyptic violence to depict not only the astounding carnage witnessed on that day, but also to describe the anti-government counter-culture to which Timothy McVeigh and his accomplices belonged. In this statement he is referring to the assault on the Branch Davidian complex in Waco, TX. It is believed by many that this is the act which pushed McVeigh to bomb the federal building in Oklahoma City. Hamm went on further to argue, “The federal government had created an apocalyptic subculture in the hinterlands of the USA. And that it had done so through its ruthless use-of-force at Waco.”
...holes that had bothered him, brought them all together and had formed a gang. Every gang has a corporate ladder and Aaron happened to be on top – using my four pillars to maintain his position. With all of his genius and knowledge, he had forgotten that you can’t fight a war with just knowledge. Someone had brought their own knowledge to the table, in the form of a hand gun.
As unfortunate as it sounds, no matter where a person lives, inequality will exist. There may be some people who acknowledge it and try to prevent recurrences, but more often than not they go along with the majority, making judgments. When someone lives a different life than another, they are not capable of comparing themselves to the other person or their situations. Differences in society allow judgement of others and inequality to continue to exist. In Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World, the World State divides citizens into different class systems known as “castes” depending on the level of mental development in each individual. It is clear to see that because of the direct divisions, inequality would be created among them. In many situations
Guha described in his article that only middle to upper class individuals care about environmental problems occurring. This can be because money that impoverished people have need to go towards food, shelter, clothing, and other necessities, not environmental movements. Although, maintaining the environment, in my opinion, is essential to human existence. Humans should not want to live in a place where the smog chokes a person when they walk outside. Therefore, to learn from Guha, more programs to help and improve environments in areas that are poor are necessary. This could also lead to better health conditions for individuals, as smog and other problems can affect people negatively.
A large number of low-income and minority families live in poor economic conditions. The economy is altered on account of multinational companies locating new facilities where land values and operation costs are low. Cheap lands are easily attained by polluting facilities because underprivileged communities are unable to effectively prevent such shortcomings. When companies locate their new facilities in these areas, property values decline and quality of life decreases (Mohai and Saha 2007: 345). Following this phenomenon is a decrease in the white and affluent populations of these areas. When property values decline, housing is made affordable, therefore, minorities and the poverty-stricken move in. This paradox commences the stages of environmental racism. Despite notable improvements in environmental inequalities, internationally, billions of people live in hazardous physical conditions. Furthermore, “These communities suffer both the physical and social consequences of housing discrimination, residential segregation, and...
Here one of the continuous arguments is that Earth’s support do not only consist the number of people in the earth, but also the features of economics, environment and culture. Cohen takes into perspective also the economic growth and takes critical position considering its inconsistency. He describes that global economic system does not take into notion depletion of unowned stocks, their environmental and social costs and ignorance of human need. Growth of population also has many environmental impacts. He argues that human activity is closely linked to environmental problems, and when population growth is fast, the environmental problems get worse. He brings up the issue of trade-offs, for example trade-offs among burying municipal wastes. In his opinion, environmental vulnerability increases as humans move into cities and consume more. Third negative feature of population growth according to Cohen is cultural implosion. Due to migration and technology the rural and urban regions have shrunk the world, bringing cultures into contact and into conflict. He thinks that this cultural cohesion has raised problems on employment, cultural conflicts, gender inequality and distressing income gaps. Cohen says that these problems put aside also issues concerning the negative effects of population growth to environment. It is interesting to read about the important factor of regulating population. He says that it is hard to find solutions to this, and also highlights that the time is short for correcting our
This may sound like the beginning of a horror movie, but it isn’t. It is actually a very basic description of a very broad subject: microbiology.
The massive amount of extraction from the earth’s natural resources, which are forest, water, mountains and animals, at the current rate society is extracting them will eventually leave nothing left to extract. The areas where the more civilized people populate have used up their resources and in turn have started extracting resources from third world countries, causing them to move away from their homeland due to their depleting recourses. In all honestly, this is extremely unfair, for the simple reason that these people are just innocent ...
