Tennis Science: The Power of the Racket and the Ball
Introduction
Tennis is a popular sport mostly in western part of the world. This is played as single or
double players. Each players has a racket that should be used in smashing the ball in to the other
side of the court and take advantage in getting a score. This sport can enhance our physical
fitness same as some hard core athletic sports like swimming, basketball, and many more. The
mechanics in this game, make sure you should avoid to commit a mistake, make the opponent
make a mistake and score a point. But this is not just swing the racket, give the best that you’ve
got and make a lots of point. In this paper player should know the science behind the racket and
the movement of the ball in the game. There are lots of long-time player doesn’t know about the
science behind the tennis. In fact, this is a great advantage to get a point to your opponent by
using this knowledge as a tactics.

The sting is the largest part of the racket that serve as the face of the racket. This is the
part where the ball were landed as you swing the racket. This can be made up of natural guts or
synthetic guts. Natural guts came from the intestine of an animal. While the synthetic guts came
from nylon strings, polyester and Kevlar, multifilament or textured string. Nylon strings is a

Years of playing the game and not improving, Gawande incidentally finds himself play tennis with a young man who is a tennis couch. The innovations in the material of the tennis racquet — the strings and the frame — have changed tennis throughout the years; thus, fundamentally changing the game by allowing players to hit with more power, spin, and racquet speed. Many star professional tennis players in the past and present use new technology to help take their game to new levels. The change from a wooden racquet to a carbon-fiber tennis racquet and the change from cow gut strings to non-gut synthetic strings have changed the way tennis is played.
The United States Tennis Association (USTA) is the national governing body of tennis. Established in 1881, the mission of the USTA is to “promote and develop the growth of tennis.” The mission statement serves as the guiding principle for all activities of the United States Tennis Association. The USTA is the largest tennis organization in the world. It operates with the assistance of 17 section associations, serving more than 665,000 members and 7,800 organizational members.
It is said that in 1949, Sobek and a partner began playing with a paddle and combined the rules of handball and squash to play what they called “paddle racquets.” He then decided to change from a paddle to a racquet itself using a tennis racquet as a model. He made 25 to sell to his friends to start the sport. There was one problem though; there were faults in the ball. Sobek then found a Spalding ball made for children that work well. He bought a lot of them and sold him to his friends in 1950 to keep his sport from dwindling out. Sobek eventually started his own company to make his own ball to his exact specifications for the game.

The way Morgan incorporated tennis into his game is by using a similar net; however, he raised the height to six feet and six inches off the ground. He also created this game for his fellow businessman Blain. When Morgan invented his game he came up with a set of rules, however many of his rules have been changed or there are new ones. One of the rules to this game is that before the game starts, there is a coin toss. This coin toss determines which team gets to decide who gets the serve first.
Tennis is a sport that many people love to play. It is not the hardest sport in the world to learn. When playing against someone, it is called a match. Tennis can be played one on one or a doubles match. The main object of the game is to hit the ball over the net, inside of the lines so that the opponent can't get to it. There are two lines about two feet parallel to each other that outline the court. In a singles match, the inner line is the out of bound line, while the outer line is out of bounds in a doubles match. This game only started to become popular in the 19th century in England and the United States.Tennis and golf are the two sports that have become more and more popular with new generations. These two sports have a lot of things in common and are very joyful. However, tennis and golf are played very differently and there are tons of differences that make them unique.
In a one hour match of tennis, a male can burn as many as 600 calories and a female can burn up to 420 (Groppel); tennis also raises optimism and lowers risk of depression and anxiety (Ogoen). Tennis improves cardiovascular health and mental health as well as encourages social behavior. Tennis includes many different grips and techniques that enable the ball to have different types of spin. Tennis is also great for children and the community. Tennis is a sport that improves the community through being more physically, mentally, and socially active.
There are many aspects to the game of basketball and physics can be applied to all of them. Although to be good at basketball it is not necessary to play it from a physics point of view. Basketball players become good by developing muscle memory for the actions that must be performed in the game of basketball from years of practice. Nevertheless knowing some of the physics in the game of basketball can help a good player be a better player. In this paper I will cover the three most important aspects of the game, shooting, dribbling and passing.

During a match that is broadcasted on TV viewers are usually given an opportunity to see a varying amount statistics. These statistics would the number of aces, first and second serve percentages, number of winners and errors, and so on. The average viewer would only go as far as knowing who won, but these statistics provide a much deeper into many underlying aspects of the match such as how a player won and the chances of winning. Meanwhile, the construction of probability formulas is present due the scoring system being hierarchically structured. For instance, points are gained throughout the service games; these points are which are nested within sets, as well as within the match. Thus, tennis is a game of mathematics that is highly involved with the chances of players winning the match
Sport Education is physical activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs. It usually makes the kids want to be competitive with one another and it teaches them the importance of a winner and loser. This type of teaching method helps students learn how to play sports and gets them involved. The earlier you start using this method, the earlier the children learn the basic functions and skills behind activities. When children start to understand the sport or activity that is being taught, they will want to start doing more activities in and outside of the classroom. Sports are a very important in a persons life because it keeps you involved, physically fit, healthy, and it shows the importance of competition and teamwork.
