Many people in high school, mostly teens, experience dozens of pressure in their life. To be specific, Schoolwork. Most teens want to excel in school, but want to have a social life or play some kind of sport. One thing that teens don’t understand is that once you’re out of high school, you have college, and then maybe graduate school. Our education will not be over just in High School. You have to work hard and these four years of your life, will impact everything that you do. If you mess up even once, it may ruin everything. This article is named, “Teens Biggest Stress? School.” It has been featured on MSNBC.com. It is written by, “The Associated Press”. It explains how 13-17 years old have the most stress in their high school life. Although Adults from the zage of 18-24 also experience it but most of their stress comes from financial worries or finishing Graduate School. Teens don’t think too much so we try to rush everything. Even though everyone experiences stress sometime in their life, recent studies have been proved that High School Teenagers experience the most stress. A tenth grader in Memphis, Madelyn Dancy has many pressures in her life. She wants to stand out in school so she can implement her vision of becoming a Doctor. She is a normal 15 year old but she is working extra hard in school. Her family dreams about her being a doctor. “They’re looking at me to do something in my life that they couldn’t do” explains Madelyn. Madelyn works hard in school, plays Lacrosse, and she is trying to have a social life outside of school. A social life is also needed, but remember one wrong step can ruin everything. For all this to work, to have a social, sporty and school life you have to work extremely hard. Agreed that adults also fear stress but in a teen’s life, it’s like you can never just forget it and walk away from it. Even if you do walk away, it’s going to come back chasing you. Dancy and Kelly experience stress but both of their stress are different. If the parents are trying to explain the Teen something right, and the Teen doesn’t want to do it, that causes the biggest problem. For Dancy it’s her school, sporty and social life. For Kelly it’s finishing her Business Administration Degree and her two part time jobs. No matter how different your stress is, but everyone experiences it once in their life. Whether it is school or jobs or financial issues. Stress is not to be walken away from. Be positive, patience, let time run, and keep yourself busy in good deeds. These are the keys to success from stress.
