Teaching entails an analysis of these aspects, questions, decisions and reflecting on them gives me an idea that, to become a teacher one must reflect on all of its components. This essay will show just four parts from the unit that has been taught so far, Professionalism and ethics, strategies that can be used to motivate students, a positive classroom environment and proactive classroom management. What needs to be shown is how effective a teacher can be from the knowledge that they are given.
Teaching-
Some people will often comment about teachers “they do not do enough, they do not care”. What do teachers do? How do they make a difference? A teacher must make students wonder and make them question everything. They make them apologise and mean it. Students must be taught responsibility and respect. A teacher must teach students how to read and write and read some more. A teacher knows they make a difference.
The teaching profession, has in recent years become one of the most valued and important professions around. The role of a teacher it is to mould a child’s mind and help them to grow, to the best of that child’s ability. A teacher has to be professional in every way. Academically a teacher will have to be formally trained at a tertiary level, as a teacher must have the skills needed to teach and assess a student. Teachers must also dedicate themselves to on going training which can go on for years. As many new programs are always being made available for training staff. Teachers are very much in the public eye and as such need to portray a professional appearance. ...ing is a rewarding position that as a teacher one has to commit themselves to. Rewarding is meant by having the privilege of working with students and making a difference in a child’s mind as they grow. A teacher must reflect constantly on how they teach, the decisions that they make and the questions that are asked. This is a profession worth the years of study one must undertake to complete.

The first reward is my desire to work with young people. I want to interact with young people and help them learn and develop. Teaching is a satisfying profession. A national survey suggests that teachers as a group are satisfied with the profession and their level of satisfaction has increased in the last 25 years (Introduction to Teaching, 2007, pg. 5). Being able to help in shaping our young people gives one a great feeling.
The purpose of this paper is to review three peer review articles on excellence in teaching a first grade class and or an elementary level class. In order to be successful in a classroom a teacher must be up to date with the latest methods for enhancing their lessons and abilities for students to learn. It is important for teachers to have supportive interactions with their students in order for the student’s achievements to be successful. It is also important that teachers provide hands on common teaching techniques in their lesson and class. Last but not least it is very important for teachers to make their students feel like with instructional and emotional support from their teacher that they will not fail.
In order to become a teacher she has to pursue higher education, graduate with a Bachelor degree, and pass the certification test. Teachers are not in the profession for the money or for the glory, but they truly have a passion for young people. They want to make a difference in the lives of their students. Teachers do not desire to see students fail classes, and they do not enjoy placing failing grades on assignments that the students didn’t put any effort in to. They would much rather have classrooms full of students who are eager and willing to learn. They don’t enjoy standing up in the front of the classroom staring at blank faces, but they desire to see students engaging and being excited about learning. A teacher’s work is never finished and she is never satisfied with the way things are. The responsibility of a teacher is great. Robert J. Marzano, author of The Art and Science of Teaching says, “The teacher must provide clear direction to students and generate an atmosphere in which all students feel valued and intellectually challenged.”(85) She is always looking for ways to make the classroom experience more enjoyable, and one of her top priorities is making sure that her students feel loved. In order to learn, students need discipline with dignity. They need to know that misbehavior is not okay, and that there are rules and standards to live by in the classroom, just like there is in the “real world”. Students, when given a routine and are treated with structure, generally perform better. By instilling discipline in the classroom, I hope to provide a more stable and more effective learning environment for all.
There are many rewards that come along while being a teacher; however it is key to note that it is not a role to be taken lightly. It is a difficult role to fill. Teachers need to appreciate that every child learns differently. No matter their socioeconomic status, culture, or gender, as teachers we have to inspire and have a level field in your classrooms. Teachers are faced with many challenges and issues that they may not know what to do, but the most important thing during these challenges is to not give up on the student.
To help students to feel capable, connected and contributing (or the three C’s) Linda Albert asks us to make five fundamental changes to our classrooms, or what she calls “Paradigm Shifts in Cooperative Discipline” (see figure 2). Being a teacher is not an easy task as many people could think. To be a teacher does not only imply to know the subject to be taught, it also includes being willing to constantly improve oneself integrally, as much as updating the resources and materials one uses in teaching.
