Taking a Closer Look at Sunni Islam

The Sunni belief system is to surrender to Allah. They see Allah as the creator, the peacemaker, and the restorer of the world. The words of Allah is in the Quran which was revealed to his messenger Muhammad. They had to do the Five Pillars; five daily prayers, a welfare tax called zakat, fasting (during the month of Ramadan), and a pilgrimage to Mecca, and to believe that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is his. The Sunni Islam believed after Muhammad's death the right person capable for the job should take over which was Muhammad best friend. Sunni Islam is monotheistic meaning they believe in one god. Sunni Islam also has a deity which is Allah meaning a god or goddess.
Sunni Islam and Christianity belief system are both monotheistic. The both also believe that Jesus is one of the greatest prophets. Sunni Islam and Christianity also have some type of writing talking about their god. Christianity has the bible and the Sunni Islam has the Quran.
