The description of the company

Nevaeh Hair Design is a full service beauty salon dedicated to consistently providing high customer satisfaction by rending excellent service, quality products, and furnishing an enjoyable atmosphere at an acceptable price/value relationship. Their mission is to supply services and products that enhance the client’s physical appearance and mental relaxation.

The salon is owned by master designer Marleen Smith. She has created a large client following over the last 17 years. Marleen developed a desire for doing hair after receiving an initiation from her brother to work with him in his barbershop. Little did she know this would spark a business interest within her to open her own salon; a relaxed atmosphere that allowed her to cater to women. Nevaeh Hair Design has been in business for seven years.

Nevaeh is not short on the services provided. The services provided in this upscale salon range from haircuts, relaxers, perms, color, shampoo, conditioning, curling, reconstruction weaving, waving, braiding, and natural hair care. They also specialize in nail care and provide manicures, pedicures, and sculptured nails and designing. If this is not enough one could also have their skin care needs ranging from European facials, body waxing to massages.

Nevaeh has an exclusive contract with Narobi to sell their top quality products. In addition there are other products for sale to meet customer needs, such as: Motions, Paul Mitchell, Miani, and Biolage. These products include shampoos, mousse, conditioners, hair spray, nail polish and files, skin conditioners, and cleansers.

...stances during our interview where I wish Ms. Smith would have opened up a little more. For instance when she spoke about losing employees, no matter how many prying questions I asked she would not go into why her employees fluctuated. I also think that Ms. Smith while very intelligent may be missing opportunities to increase her clientele, keep employees, and ultimately boost profits. There may be a missed opportunity with not offering other incentives, such as discounts could. This could potentially bring in new customers and entice old customers to frequent more often. As far as maintaining employees; I wonder if their pay was adequate, if the rent was pricey compared to other salons or if there was some other issue. From my experience, Nevaeh is one of the most organized, well run salons in Greenville, SC. The staff is always professional and prompt.
