ABTRACT
A questionnaire was administered to Hampton University students between the ages of 18-22 while in the student center on campus. They were shown a video pertaining to homosexuals showing different forms of affection towards each other and were given am questionnaire afterwards asking how they felt about what they saw. With this research you will be shown the thoughts of different people from different environment and backgrounds and how they perceive PDA between homosexuals.

Richard Mohr believes that outing closeted homosexuals is morally justified. He argues that sexual orientation is not a private matter and therefore, does not violate a homosexual's right to privacy. He believes that outing will increase the homosexual community by creating positive role models. He argues that remaining in the closet is morally debasing and creates indignity to one's self. Claudia Card on the other hand, argues almost the complete opposite. She takes a utilitarian stance on outing "the big secret." The big secret is referring to one being a homosexual. She believes that outing is justified as long as it does no harm, which she believes is unlikely.
While I was taking the implicit association test of sexuality, I noticed that I am not a bias person by any means. The results to the test even showed no significant difference between my reaction time to the trails. Personally, It does not matter to me if you are heterosexual or homosexual. Actually, we depend on our ourselves to be happy and not care what others think. I learned that even though we might act and look different, yet we are all the same in some ways. I mean, to say the least that what ever makes us happy should be our main focus, instead of listening and being hurt by others views.

Since the 1800's, psychiatrists and psychologists have concluded that homosexuality is a mental disorder. They have believed it is brought about by misguided upbringing and their social environments. For instance, it was believed that if the child was lacking a male - figure in the home, he would most likely be gay. Or that child abuse can lead to lesbianism when the special needs of a little girl are denied, ignored, or exploited and the future womanhood of the child is in risk. However, inconsistencies in the research subjects' abuse records ruled these theories out. And if this were the case, then why is homosexuality present in different cultures? Some believed homosexuality was caused by a difference in brain structure. In 1991, Simon LeVay published research stating that sexual orientation may be the result of differing brain structures. The hypothalamus, a region in the brain that governs sexual behavior, was the structure that LeVay was pointing as the structure at fault. In his studies of the hypothalamus, he found that in homosexual men, the hypothalamus was smaller than that of heterosexual men. Instead, it was the size of the female hypothalamus, consequently explaining their sexual tendencies.

For decades people have struggled with their feelings of homosexuals. Homosexuality used to be something that a person hid. If a person was gay, they would do almost anything to make sure that no one found out. If the public found out about a person being homosexual, they labeled that as being sick or twisted. They were also, at times, presented with rude comments about how they chose to live their life. However, times are changing and while still being presented with discrimination more and more people are letting their gay status be known to the world. Not all people support the idea of a man or women spending their lives with someone of the same sex. Both politics and the public are at a stalemate with their own beliefs of how the situation showed be handled. As time goes on though people are becoming more and more accepting of homosexuality, which was a huge taboo about forty years ago. Society has become used to the idea and reality of homosexuality and allowed it grow in every community. They have even started debates to allow same sex couples the same rights and freedom as any other couple in the country. While not all people agree with this movement the numbers of people who do show support is growing over the years.

I scored the lowest on section A, B, and C with eight points. My highest score is on section D with 15 points. I think that overall my scores are similar and are not at the same times because My section A, B, C, and F are either the same or one point off. But my section D and E, they are so far from the others yet with each other they are similar.
