Camping. Something I fond of. Since I was a kid, I solely love being with the nature as if I was born best friend for them. When I was in the primary school, I joined the Young Scouts Club, which was my favourite until I reached fifteen, but, the activity had to be forgotten since I move to the private school. A well-known, prestigious school which somewhat brings a weird feeling inside me. Honestly, I liked it more to study in my previous school, a public government school. I met some cool mates there, ordinary friends who came to school by foot, by bicycle, by bus with an innocent goal to study. Bring lunch packs from home and sharing with the other kids under the tree in the field during recess. Wearing uniform is a good idea, in which it does not tell which class you came from. Yea, it’s true. I was still a kid back then. Nothing matters much to me, but I always observe situations in many different kind of view. Knowing the other kids with different background, by chance, I saw how they are treated by their parents, family… some are good, and some are not really good looking. Some are blessed with love, some are blessed with material… lucky for those who’s privileged with both. I had to obey my dad’s request after completing my junior high school with a so-so result, while bright and shining Adrian, he presented a handsome grade. Mum and dad were overjoyed when they received the news from the science college stated that my twin got accepted and on a par with my performance, they chose that school for me. It is indeed a respected high-end school, the best in its class, yea, certainly if you own a parents whose own the class. Who doesn’t want to study there? I guess every spoiled brat are cheerful to study there.…I don’t refer t...

...a yes, but no is always a guarantee.” I surrendered to his words with a hopeless sound.
He carries his task in preparing our needs for the camping, while I am appointed to take care of the food supply. Miss Rina? We decided that she just need to get ready and nothing else. Like I do, she looked very excited to go camping as she opened the door when I rang her bell.
“Good day teacher,” I saluted with my right hand grasping hers in a handshake and it becomes a fluency for a hug and a kiss upon the cheek. Never in my life have I done this with anybody aside from my family.
“Are you driving without license?”
“For my birthday next year, I’ll get one, don’t worry. Both me and Andy will drive legally next year.” Miss Rina shook her head while looking at me and said, “please take me safely there. I trust you.”
“Greatly honoured. I won’t disappoint someone who trusts me.”
What might a regular education teacher learn from Bright Star about Jim’s learning and educational needs?
It is nearly impossible to understand everything the first time around, especially when it comes to stories that are as detailed as The Bright Forever. When reading stories the first time, I believe we don’t understand every element that the author is trying to portray to us. When reading The Bright Forever for the first time, we all anticipated how it was going to end. With each page, we all tried to put the pieces together and tried to figure out who, how and why it all happened the way it did. The first time around, we were all clueless, but after going back and reading the book again for a second, you are able to pick up on things a lot easier. By doing this, you can figure out the meaning of the authors imagery and clues throughout the book.
Under Communist rule, everyone is equal by law. That's why during the 1920 to the 1950's, African Americans flocked to join the party. Included in the flock of black Communists was the renowned black author, Richard Wright, whose works are today known for their dark portrayal of black Communist life. A critic summarizes the influence on his stories: "As a poor black child growing up in the deep South, Richard Wright suffered poverty, hunger, racism and violence... experiences that later became central themes of his work" ("Richard Wright" 1). Richard Wright's many literary work, especially his short stories, all deal with those dark themes. One of his most famous short stories, "Bright and Morning Star", is a story that: "[. . .] carefully investigates the inner psychology of Aunt Sue, a mother of Communists[. . .]" as an essayist summarizing the story's plot (Kent 43). In other words, the story follows the deadly and dangerous dilemmas of Aunt Sue, a black Communist mother of black Communist sons living in the South, as she tries to protect her son that is not in jail, Johnny-Boy, and the other Communist members at the same time.. He is out recruiting for a Communist meeting, and the Sheriff and his white mob are hunting him down. Wright writes the story so expertly that the reader really experiences Communist life in the South, and get caught up in the danger and suspense of the story, living it as though he or she were part of the story! He was able to create this tone of fright and suspense using stylistic devices like colloquialisms, foreshadowing, and symbolism.
Driving out of the parking lot the car was silent, until Lacey started doing a bad imitation of the manager, “After this come in here with your shoulders covered. Its our policy.” laughing and returning to her normal voice “Even at 17 you still get us into trouble, will you ever change?”
name and tattoo across his face: NOMAD. Foyle knew he couldn't stay. He still had a score to settle and so he busted off the asteroid with a vengeance burning higher.
Most students go to school. But we don’t realize why school is important. Some may say that we learn in school. But there other important things in school as well. Especially in this book, most of the story took place in the school, Beacher Prep. What the kids did in school affected each other’s lives. For example, in the story if anyone said anything to someone else it affects their behaviour at home. In my final task I will share more reasons of why school is important.
Some might ask why anyone would even begin to want to leave home for something like high school. Why would you leave your home, your friends, your family? It is indeed a good question, one which I will answer in this essay.
At the start of the universe there was a varying degree of complexity that ensures the foundations of connections in our universe and planet Earth. With the foundation of the universe it allowed for stars, planets and black holes to form. Stars work as a complex mechanism as they are able to convert elements into fuel to survive, these small mechanisms in the star ensures its stability and makes it complex. The many ways stars are created and destroyed allows for the presentation of different levels of complexity. When a low mass star die it exhausts its fuel and collapses due to gravity, it will the slowly burn away and the carbon core will cool down and become a white dwarf. Massive stars with a higher mass end in a different way, their cores
Sirius also called the Dog Star or Sirius A is the brightest star in Earth's night sky. The name signifies "shining" in Greek. With a visual greatness of - 1.46, the star is outshone just by a few planets and additionally the International Space Station.2
The poet John Keats, who writes “Bright Star” and the poet Robert Frost, who wrote “Choose Something Like a Star” both share a common writing style which is shown through the similarity in the theme, structure and other poetic devices in their poems.
Stars lifecycles span from millions to billions of years. Over that time many different events occur and vary from star to star. These events include exhausting their hydrogen core, expanding, and “death; which can encompass the star turning into a neutron star or a black hole. Also the lifecycle of a star directly effects earth. Our solar systems star, the sun, will eventually expend its fuel supply, die, and eventually expand until it reaches Earth.
I lived with my Aunts during the week and my grandmother on the weekends. My grandmother lived in the inner city and my aunts wanted me to have a chance at a better education. So, they moved me to a new school district. It was a new environment, I was excited! New school, teachers, and friends. Opportunity was everywhere. The change was great, but it highlighted something I never noticed, I was different. My life was not like my friends, most were raised by parents, both or at least one. I on the other hand was the product of a village. That village is what gave me the strength to go into school each day, head high, eager to learn, and determined to
Having spent twelve years of my school life in just one small red brick building, the years tend to fade into each other. But the year I remember most clearly and significantly is my senior year of high school, where I finally began to appreciate what this institution offered to any student who stopped to look. Before, school had been a chore, many times I simply did not feel motivated toward a subject enough to do the homework well, and seeing the same familiar faces around ever since I was 5 years old grew very tiring soon enough. But I began to see things from a different angle once I became a senior.
I always wanted to get good grades and challenged myself which help me get in the honor role in my two years in row, but that doesn't mean I am a perfect student. As, student going to high school can boost my confidence in the classroom and help improve my average writing skills. In Middle School, I was a part of clubs such as NJHS (National Junior Honor Society) and Service Learning, and being member of these clubs I become a well shape student overall by being optimistic and enthusiasm about school and I was given the opportunity to change the culture of my school and the community. When I am not doing school work, I enjoy playing sports, especially football, so by going to high school I can continue where I left off. Being a student with right mind set, transitioning to high school won’t be I hard, but I know I will have new challenges I have to overcome and long lasting experiences which will get me ready for life.
At the beginning of one’s journey of gaining more knowledge, most children don’t mind school, for it is a change of environment for them. The majority of elementary school adolescents even enjoy school to some degree. As time wears on, we usually, and sadly, begin to see a change of heart. Children become fatigued from school and therefore don’t take pleasure in going anymore. Maybe their teachers didn’t teach them in the way that they learn most efficiently, or maybe students just become bored with the whole “school scene” itself. Whatever the case, it is apparent that by the time they reach high school, their interest for learning alone has died out.
