I believe that smoking cigarettes is bad for you. Yes it may relief stress for a while and make you feel good but the cons out way the pros. Smoking is bad for your body. Although the most common smoking-related problems occur in the mouth, throat, and lungs, smoking affects every organ in your body one way or another. The use of tobacco is not what it seems to be. You will develop life long problems with smoking. My dad had 11 brothers and sisters. Every single one of them, including my dad, smoke a pack a day. What were the results? All but 5 are alive today. Those six developed some sort of cancer from smoking that ended their life. I’m not going to tell you don’t smoke, because it’s your body and your choice, but I will tell you the consequences that can happen. I do not understand how smokers can keep smoking knowing well what they are doing to their body. I think of it as they are slowly killing themselves. I understand many use the word ‘addiction’ to explain their reasons for smoking. However, would you not agree that knowing you can die by doing something should move you to do everything in your power to stop? Smoking is a terrible addiction that is bad for your body by causing numerous health problems, causes second hand smoke to loved ones, and causes life long problems and death.
Smoking harms nearly every organ in the body. Smoking is predicted to increase your risk of coronary heart disease, which is the leading cause of death in America right not, stroke, lung cancer, and actually dying from lung cancer. Yeah dying. Death is a risk that comes from smoking. Most people say ‘It’ll never happen to me’ or ‘I don’t smoke that much’, but the truth is it can happen to anyone that smokes tobacco. ...hoices you as a person make. Smoking is no doubt addictive. Smoking tobacco causes several health problems such as various forms of cancer and chronic lung diseases. Smoking also hurts your loved ones. As the smoker, you cause secondhand smoke that affects other people, not just you. Smoking can kill you. Please do everything you can to stop smoking. You can get help.
