Attend the tales beyond anyone’s imagination; often told to a young generation, the story of the tooth fairy or Santa Claus always seem to come to an end at an appropriate age. Yet, unidentified flying objects are always left to the individual to be unsure of throughout their lifetime with no definite proven answer. Why are UFOs disregarded by government officials so often? Why are the people who spot the UFOs laughed out of a room? Obviously, the people that the world depends desperately on to protect us, are keeping a secret they feel may lead to chaos. Many histories of sightings, cover-ups, and the remarkable new discoveries in science learned each day should prove that UFOs are no laughing matter. All the possibilities the universe holds is a mystery to all, yet, the government should make UFOs one less mystery to solve.
In the beginning of the earliest documented civilization, UFO was depicted in inscriptions and cave walls with statements from witnesses of what they had encountered. The first aircraft was not invented until 1903, yet, there are sightings of UFOs many years before the thought of air travel ever came about. The earliest clues of “ancient astronauts” recorded were from Sumerian Legends where the USO (unidentified submarine object) visitor “Ea” popped out of the Persian Gulf, “half man, half fish” wearing what would be known today as a wet suit. “Ea” claimed to be from the twelfth planet in the Milky Way, which has still not been found by modern astronomy. Now, this claim would be considered pure myth, if it had not coincided with a boon of script, cultivation, and handy instruments (Mizrach 2). The early age historical documented

... are left for the Earthlings to decide. If the government unveils the mystery, I am sure that they would be forced to answer much more. The honest answer about the reality of UFOs from the world leaders would definitely open the eyes and minds to greater possibilities of what this elaborate universe is capable of.

There are many conspiracies that people say have happened at the Roswell crash in the summer of 1947 in Roswell New Mexico. Nobody knows what really happened at the crash in Roswell New Mexico but, many people say that the thing that had crashed there was a UFO and or a flying saucer which mean there being aliens. Even after 50 years the people still do not know what happened and for everybody that doesn’t know were going to go deeper into what really happened. This incident had caused a lot of chaos with the Air force and the people.
Ever look up at the sky and just wonder if there is life anywhere else? Have you seen anything in the sky that is almost unexplainable? What if your thoughts really came true? The thought of the existence of aliens seems to have been around since the beginning of time. There is one incident in particular that really hits home when talking about the subject, the UFO incident of Roswell, New Mexico.
Recently, many people believed to have witnessed via a viral video, U.F.O. (unidentified flying object) sighting directly above the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem, Israel, yet solid research quickly disproved this occurrence as another contemporary hoax. Sightings such as this one dates back to June 24th, 1947, when Kenneth Arnold reportedly saw a “flying saucer” (Dash). There are many people around the world, who believe wholeheartedly in unidentified flying objects. Moreover, when Mr. Arnold made his claim of seeing a U.F.O., there were many futile arguments between believers and non-believers. Nowadays however, thanks to modern technology, people can record the alleged sighting by means such as video and still picture. In so doing, this allows public opportunity to view and judge via the internet or print media the validity of a U.F.O.
Whether or not the Roswell incident truly involved a UFO remains unclear. How ever, the military cover-up only served to fuel the fire of our imaginations. Interest continues to grow, as questions remain unanswered. Even Bill Clinton has been quoted as saying “…If the United States Air Force did recover alien bodies, they didn’t tell me about it either, and I want to know”(qtd. in Wright 105).
On June 24th of 1947, a pilot named Kenneth Arnold made the first and most famous claim that he saw a flying saucer. In that same year, William Brazel noticed piles of debris around thirty miles from Roswell, New Mexico. A combination of these two events sparked a popular culture phenomenon that has changed the world. Extraterrestrials have become a part of the average American’s everyday life. Even as children exposure to the idea of there being a different intelligent life in the universe is something they encounter in movies, television shows and books. In March of 2009, the children’s movie Monsters vs Aliens was released and has grossed over three hundred and eighty-one million dollars so far. As children grow up and become teenagers

Paranormal Activity is similar to pseudoscience and involves experiences outside of science (Hines, 2003). However, there is another side to these strange occurrences which includes UFOs, alien contact, and the appearance of unusual creatures. According to Imbrogno (2008) “No matter how skeptical you are, there are three things that cannot be denied: that reports of paranormal experiences exist, that they persist, and they are increasingly occurring on a global scale” (pg.16). According to Hines (2003) “Paranormal phenomena includes extrasensory perception (ESP), telekinesis, ghosts, poltergeists, life after death, reincarnation, faith healing, human auras, and so forth” (pg.20). The term UFOs, unidentified flying objects, is the reported sighting of any object or arrangement of lights that do not have a logical or natural explanation. The first reported incident in America occurred in 1947, when an amateur pilot, Kenneth Arnold, made claims of a sighting while flying his small plane near Mount Rainier in Washington which caused the U.S. government to begin searching for extraterrestrials (Stephey, 2009). Moreover, Chinese texts from the 4th century make claims of a “moon boat” that visited once every 12 years hovering above the country to become the earliest sighting in recorded history (Stephey, 2009). Although issues such as speed, shape, and size continues to differs, the U.S. Air Force commissioned Project Blue Book, an official record of sights that occurred in the U.S. from 1952 to 1969 logging over 12,000 sightings or events involving UFOs.
Intelligent life outside of Earth is one of the most debated topics in The United States of America. There are plenty of shows on television about it and supposedly there has been thousands of sightings all throughout America. Our government is thought of to have encountered and held extraterrestrials. Area 51 is where everyone theorizes that we hold and run tests on aliens, even though there is little evidence. There are also ancient stories told about “gods” coming down and doing inhuman things. In cave paintings you can find UFOs in the pictures, even back then they somehow knew of these flying objects. Most people do not want to recognize that our universe is so vast it would be more likely that there is intelligent life out there than there is not. It is possible that the general population is afraid to acknowledge Aliens’ existence because they cannot imagine a species being more advanced and smarter than us. Another reason people fail to recognize them is because the media has made these “creatures” very far fetched with
We may never know what lays beyond our night sky. It may be nothing, or our Government may be hiding everything from us, perhaps our President is behind these cases as well. This is the mystery that will trouble us for generations, but using evidence such as the LA shooting back in World War II, It is easy to gleam that: Aliens, Do, Exist.
This paper will prove it will remain unknown if the Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) crash sighting at Roswell, New Mexico on July 4th, 1947 did happen, although the government is hiding Extraterrestrial information there. The following is a list of terms that may become confusing to some readers.
There are numerous of different movies, books, and TV shows on how humans think aliens interact, look similar to, and what the media portrays aliens to be like. Occasionally, most will stumble across news articles with a variety of related headings about aliens, UFO’s, or recent known abduction stories. Every person has their own theories and or thoughts on these basic questions: do aliens exist? Could the government be covering up real life “space ships” or encounters? Countless folks have claimed to witness or have fanciful stories that have fascinated countless while several others are turned away. There are Videos, pictures and pieces of physical evidence to support nearly all of these stories. Even more alarming,
The thought of government cover-ups have been long discussed. The government has always, in the past, tried to keep any sign of aliens, whether it be pictures from space, to crashes on earth, to a low or nonexistent level. Just recently has the government been harassed to the point where they actually gave us clues to alien existence. It has in some ways been believed that the government has worked in partnership with popular movie directors, to produce alien movies to ease the thought that we may not be alone. Such movies as ôThe Arrivalö and the ever popular ôIndependence Dayö are very good examples of well convincing alien movies. If this is true, they did a good job, because statistics state that 75% of people today believe that there is some kind of intelligent life forms besides ourselves in the universe. That is very convincing compared to the 20% whom believed 25 years ago. ô New opinions are always suspected, and usually opposed, without any other reason but because they are not already common.ö (MacGowan 261)
Erich Von Daniken, one of the main figures responsible for popularizing the ancient astronaut hypotheses, has written twenty-six books referencing his theories on ancient aliens. Von Daniken’s examination of ancient texts, archeology, artwork, and other wonders are the basis of his theories regarding extraterrestrial intervention in human history. Von Daniken claims that the myths, arts, science, astronomy, architecture, etc. of ancient cultures were introduced by astronauts from another world. He also suggests that certain deity’s in our ancient history, such as India’s Rama and ancient Egypt’s Ra, were alien astronauts th...
Do aliens exist? For eons, mankind has pondered over this peculiar question and a revealing truth has yet to be answered. However, one thing is known for sure, the discovery of intelligent alien life outside of Earth would provide support to prove and/or disprove fundamental beliefs that have been held for centuries. In any case, the discovery would serve as a cornerstone for humanity to make the quantum leap in understanding the purpose of our existence. Based on numerous examples, it is impossible to deny the existence of extraterrestrial life outside of Earth. Reportings of sightings, ancient civilizations beliefs, and scientific proof from scientists and astronomers are all key factors that contribute to this statement.
Another idea is that UFO's are not really from other planets at all, but created right here on Earth. Supposedly Germans, Americans and Soviets started the 'Projekt Saucer' in Germany towards the end of World War II. During the war Germans sent ships to the Antarctic with equipment and plans for a massive underground structure. It is said that at the end of the war scientists and engineers who had been working on Projekt Saucer in Germany ended up in this underground structure, where even more advanced saucers were created. In a manner of thinking this is by far the scariest theory should it be proved correct, for it brings up more questions than it gives answers. What would people on Earth want to create spaceships for? Why keep it such a secret if everything is harmless? Maybe, if this theory is proved correct, it is better not to know the answers.
