Global warming is the term used for an unequivocal and continuing rise in the average temperature of the Earth's climate system. Since 1971, 53% of the people in the U.S. have viewed global warming as a serious concern. I am with the 47% of the people that do not see global warming as a concern. A ton of companies are "going green" and my theory is that they are just doing it for the money. I think it is just a scam. There has been no such evidence that global warming has been caused by human activities. I believe that global warming is just earth going through a cycle and that it is not a concern or created by human activities.
Scientists have run many tests to figure out what is causing the Earth to rise in temperature. Greenhouse gases are thought as a reason for the Earth’s increase in temperature. The greenhouse effect is the process of absorption and emission of infared radiation by gases in a planet’s atmosphere warmth in its lower atmosphere and surface. Scientists have discovered that the major greenhouse gases are water vapor, which causes about 36-70% of the greenhouse affect; carbon dioxide, which causes 9-26%; methane, which causes 4-9%; and ozone which causes 3-7%. Scientists claim that human activity sin the Industrial Revolution has increases the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, leading to increased ozone, CFCs and nitrous oxide. In 2007, according to work published, the concentrations of carbon dioxide and methane have increased by 36% and 148% respectively since 1750. Over the last three decades, GDP per capita and population growth were the main drivers of increases in greenhouse gas emissions.
The theory that makes the most logical sense to me is the Earth’s climate system responds to changes...

...ies that are “going green,” but in reality, they are just getting scammed into buying something for a higher price so that company can make more money. Considering that people have become gullible to the global warming fears, companies can put green or “going green” on their products and people will automatically buy their product, thinking that they are helping putting a stop to global warming.
I believe that global warming is just earth going through a cycle and that it is not a concern or created by human activities. Many scientists believe and have convinced people all over the world that global warming is caused by carbon dioxide release and harmful fossil fuels created by human activities. The same theory has convinced many people to get scammed by companies that are "going green." In my opinion, the external forcings theory appears to be the most logical.
Global warming is the rise in average temperature of Earth’s atmosphere and oceans. If the warming continues it will have drastic effects on our lives in the future. Things such as harsher summers and colder winters will become a reality for future generations. Global warming is real, despite what the naysayers say, and it will affect us in many different ways if we can’t solve this problem. By presenting skeptics arguments about global warming I’ll prove global warming to be real by disproving them.
Global warming is a scientific, political, and controversial topic. Some believe it is catastrophic, a slow moving killer hiding in the shadows. Others do not even think twice about it as they race by in a Hummer. Global warming is the gradual increase of temperature throughout different climates. It is caused by the greenhouse gas effect in which greenhouse gases, like methane and carbon dioxide, reflect sunlight back and forth. This reflected ultraviolet light bounces between the earth and the ozone layer and becomes trapped, resulting in a gradual rise of temperature. Over time, the slow rise of temperature causes new climates throughout the globe. The article “What Megablazes Tell Us About the Fiery Future of Climate Change” by Tim Dickinson
Most climate scientists agree that the main cause of global climate change is the human expansion of the greenhouse effect. This is the global warming that results when the atmosphere traps heat radiating from Earth toward space (climate.nasa.gov). The main gases that contribute to the greenhouse effect include water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and chlorofluorocarbons (climate.nasa.gov). Human activities are changing the natural greenhouse effect. The burning of fossil fuels like coal and oil has increased the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere (climate.nasa.gov). Carbon dioxide levels have increased from 280 parts per million to 379 parts per million in the last 150 years due to human act...
In conclusion, there is too much historical data for the natural cycles that take place on the planet to not to believe that global warming is a natural process and not due to human activity.
Throughout history climates have drastically changed. There have been shifts from warm climates to the Ice Ages (Cunningham & Cunningham, 2009, p.204). Evidence suggests there have been at least a dozen abrupt climate changes throughout the history of the earth. There are a few suspected reasons for these past climate changes. One reason may be that asteroids hitting the earth and volcanic eruptions caused some of them. A further assumption is that 22-year solar magnetic cycles and 11-year sunspot cycles played a part in the changes. A further possibility is that a regular shifting in the angle of the moon orbiting earth causing changing tides and atmospheric circulation affects the global climate (Cunningham & Cunningham, 2009, p.205). Scientific studies suggest that all these played a role in past global warming and cooling periods. Today, however, there is a lot of conflict on whether humans are causing a global warming that could be disastrous to humans and all species of plants and animals on this earth. This paper will first explain the greenhouse effect, then take a look at both sides argument, and, finally, analyze the effect of global warming on world-wide sustainability
What is Global Warming? Why is it important, or not important? Well, global warming is the gradual increase in the temperature of the earth’s atmosphere generally attributed by the increased levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and other pollutants. Global Warming is real and is a current problem that we live with every day. Part of the cause of global warming is Study shows that the Earth’s temperature around the world has increased by more than 1 degree Fahrenheit since the late 1800s. In the Arctic about twice of the temperature around the world has also risen. This issue affects our daily temperature. Global warming has become a subject of political controversy. This debate has been subject to whether humans are at fault or if it is just a course of nature. Although many debates go on, questions of how to respond or help slow down the process of global warming are much more important focus. The main cause of global warming is the human contribution of the “greenhouse effect”. The Greenhouse effect is a cycle in which the temperature on Earth raises, during this, certain gases in the atmosphere trap energy. Global warming is a serious subject, very real subject that is being addressed and can be slowed down.
The cause of global warming has been a debate between scientists and experts for numerous years. In fact, Svante August Arrhenius, a Swedish chemist, first predicted global warming would occur in 1896 (Harris 16). Researchers who agree it is naturally caused insist the greenhouse effect has many natural causes. Others agree that the cause of the Earth’s increase in temperature is just part of a continuous cycle. These researchers argue that solar activity plays a huge role in the issue of global warming. Therefore, based upon the myth of the greenhouse effect, cyclical patterns, and research on solar activity, global warming is not a man-made dilemma.
It's no surprise to most people that the idea of global warming is a highly controversial and debated topic. But is there any real evidence that global warming is a growing problem or is global warming just a big scare tactic being used to get people to comply with strict government regulations? Global warming is widely believed to be the main cause of rising average global temperatures. In reality, global warming isn't really all what it has been exaggerated to be. Many of the predicted effects of global warming over time have actually been proven to be false all together.
The subject of global warming is as popular as the president. These both topics have always been hot subjects in everyday life. Global warming is the biggest storm headed in our way. It is also the most important issue of our times. Those ads or public service announcement on TV about global warming might not be the most attractive but the cause behind it is very important. Global warming is one of the major threats our planet is facing. Most scientists prove the fact that global warming is mainly caused by human activities rather than natural cycles. To simplify it, most mechanisms that we use are affecting earth. These mechanisms are created by humans. Therefore, humans are affecting earth.
Global warming is the rise in temperature of the world due to the greenhouse effect, caused by the carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere. Even people who consider global warming a false hypothesis must recognize that the amount of fossil fuel left in the world is limited. There are technologies in the world that can substitute fossil fuel such as solar panels and windmills. Global warming must be reduced if man is to survive. The United States should consider supporting green energy sources over fossil fuel sources, this could only be accomplished through political action, through education of the public and convincing those eighteen and older to vote for candidates that support green legislation.
Global warming has been a continuous controversy regarding whether humans are the primary cause for the destruction of our planet. By simply living, humans are contributing to the unceasing rise in temperature of the earth’s atmosphere predominantly created by the greenhouse effect. Greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide and methane, trap heat in the atmosphere. A mass amount of greenhouse gases develop from the burning of fossil fuels. However, deforestation, industrial processes and a few agricultural practices still transmit gases into the air. Climate scientists can agree that human activities add significantly to the levels of greenhouse gases, which is indeed the leading cause of global warming.
Global warming is a prominent symbol embodies. It is not only a scientific problem, it is one of the major political and economic issues are also facing the world today, and is closely related to all countries and the public. Global warming is definition as “an increase in the earth 's average atmospheric temperature that causes corresponding changes in climate, and that may result from the greenhouse effect.” in dictionary.com. In other words, it is because the amount of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases increase resulting in temperature.
Global warming is cused by the "greenhouse effect". The importance of the greenhouse effect was just conceived in the mid-twentieth century. 'For billions of years, cosmic forces shaped Earth, and land and air coevolved at an almost inconceivably slow pace to create a climate in which human beings and other creatures could flourish.' (Franscesca Lyman). Now, for the first time, humanity has the power to change the global climate.
Climate change is evidenced through shifts in the weather patterns such as winds, humidity and temperatures over certain durations. Natural climate changes occur less frequently and they are triggered by factors related geographical aspects as well as solar radiation. The earth’s movement on the orbit triggers changes in climate causing some areas to have higher temperatures than usual while others are significantly cold depending on the position of the earth on the orbit. The heat form the sun causes changes on the stratospheric ozone and it increases the amount of greenhouse gases. Heat from the oceanic crust also contributes to warming as a result of episodic hydrothermal venting (Liao & Sandeberg, 2012). Volcanic activity also causes a release of certain elements that may block the sun and also contribute to increase greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
The definition of global warming states that there is a gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth’s atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and other pollutants. There are a lot of evidences, facts, and statistics to support that global warming is a real thing. A research, published in 2009 by Velicogna and ven den Broeke states that the ice loss rate of Greenland is accelerating and that the global sea level is rising on the side. Also the number of days with a record high temperature has increased in the relation to the number of days with a record low temperature according to the research made by Meehle, in 2009. There are hundreds of studies that notarize the climate change, however there are hundreds of studies, which notarize global warming as a hoax according to the climate realist Marc Morano, who is a publisher of ClimateDepot.com. Those studies are connected to the long-term climate tracking and thereby are right, without any doubt. H...
