The majority of people say that high school is the best years of your life, and that saying holds true because high school has truly made a positive impact on my life. High school has cocurriculars, classes of various levels such as basic, academic, honors, or advanced placement, and various opportunities such as athletic sports. I have had a traditional high school experience, but the memories that I have made along the way have been priceless. It is sad for me to think that this amazing part of my life is almost over. During this time in my life, I tend to look back and reminisce on the moments that I shared throughout my high school experience. I realize that I have been blessed with the opportunity to meet so many amazing faculty members and friends that truly changed my life. High school allowed me to figure out who I truly am and helped me realize what I want to do with my life, high school enabled me to figure out my strengths and weaknesses, and high school reminds me of a mountain climb. High school enabled me to figure out who I truly am and helped me realize what I want to do with my life. Throughout the years, I have matured a lot and became a better student. I am hoping that these developments will help me later on in college. During my freshman year of high school, I tended to be afraid of the upperclassmen and I was afraid to step out of my comfort zone which resulted in me remaining shy and afraid to seek help. At this time, I did not have an accurate idea of who I truly was and who I was meant to be. During my sophomore year of high school, things started to change. I felt like being shy was a struggle, and I still dealt with it. I was still afraid to seek help, but I met a teacher this year, Mrs. Varriale, who ... ... middle of paper ... ...o grateful for being able to attend such an amazing high school and take classes that relate to my intended career. This part of my life is almost over, and it is finally hitting me that I am on my way to fulfilling my dream. I could not have done it without the valuable skills that I learned along the way and the determination and passion that I have developed. High school seems like something that will vanish in time, but I know that the memories I made and the skills that I developed will play a huge impact during the course of my life. High school allowed me to figure out who I truly am and helped me realize what I want to do with my life, high school enabled me to figure out my strengths and weaknesses, and high school reminds me of a mountain climb because the journey throughout the years has led me to realize the beautiful things that life truly has to offer.
