The Purpose of Education Education is a very broad term that can be interpreted in an infinite number of ways. Nonetheless, despite one's definition of education, it can be said that education does in fact have some sort of a purpose or goal. Personally, I feel that education has become important in our world for all individuals, yet at the same time I believe that education has different purposes depending on the grade level. First off, in terms of education in grades K through 3 it seems that students are introduced to the basic concepts of learning, reading, and writing.
