Male Response to the Female Form
Every action has a reaction. All human beings react to certain situations in certain ways. Little children cringe at the sight of brussel sprouts, people cry at sad movies, and everyone laughs at jokes. How do men react when they are brought before the nude female form? What is the basis for their reactions? Do people change personalities when exposed to this? I have tried to learn the mysteries behind these questions, and brought myself to many conclusions. The explanations of these questions' answers are not short and simple. They are in fact very complex. To sum up the topic, there is not just one reaction, and this depends on many key factors. All people change, from a tiny bit to a drastic awakening of a whole second self. The reasons for this are background, previous exposure, mentality, alcohol intake, and age.
I believe that changes will occur in an individual when being exposed to a naked woman that will bring out a whole second self in some, while just tiny adjustments in personality will take place in others. Psychologically, men will get aroused by a woman in her nude form and change their ideals, morals and thinking. This arousal is brought on by the basic instincts of animals that tell them to reproduce. On the other hand I believe that in a few cases men will become more careful and will act out of fear instead of acting out of pure enjoyment in contrast to the others. This will be due to the fact of embarrassment one could get when brought into a new situation. People fear new environments and become withdrawn from their surroundings making themselves feel more safe and secure.
To obtain the research and information needed to prove these statements, I must observe other...

...ir minds and realize that nudity is not wrong if used in the right way. It does change our behavior. It does change our ethics. It does make us fearful. All this is only because of the label we put on it a long time ago. This has to change and we have to look through the telescope after we clean the lens. Whether or not we actually take a step forward in evolution is now up to us.

The sexual “arms race” is constantly going on within members of a species. While both male and female are trying to pass on their genes to the next generation, they both try to do this in a different way. Females are attempting to obtain genetic material from the best possible male in order to produce the fittest offspring, while males are trying solely to pass their own genes on to the next generation.
Connell: Chapters 4 “Sex Differences & Gendered Bodies”: I found this entire chapter quite intriguing, but I really appreciate the way that Connell approaches the ways in which males and females differ and yet she also points out how there is no significant difference in brain anatomy and function between sexes. I found the statement by neuroscientist Lesley Rogers incredibly interesting, she states, “The brain does not choose neatly to be wither a female or a male type. In any aspect of brain function that we can measure there is considerable overlap between females and males” (p.52). This statement when paired with information about the affect social processes have on the body it is mind boggling to realize, as Connell states, “biology bends to the hurricane of social discipline” (p.55). It is unnerving to think that I am merely a product of my society. Not only has society shaped my beliefs, values, manners and religion, but it has also shaped my physical body? If I understand this correctly, it is incredibly disturbing.
Firstly, women are treated in many ways just something to look at. Many men are very much like little girls and their Barbie dolls. They look for the prettiest “doll” they see, pamper it and love it, and then they dump it without a second thought when they find and new and more beautiful one. Every day, we also see various models, who are not only showing off new clothing lines and make-up, but who are also showing off their bodies. Also, every sporting event includes women cheerleaders, whose entire job is to wear almost no clothes and to cheer for the men athletes. But the worst is Playboy and other magazines full of nude or almost nude women. In our...
We can do this by educating ourselves and others about what sexual objectification is, and how it is harmful to oneself. The definition of sexual objectification is, "sexual objectification is the act of treating a person as an instrument of a sexual pleasure. Objectification more broadly means treating a person as a commoner or an object without regard to their personality or dignity"(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_objectification). In the documentary, "The sexy lie", by Caroline Heldman, she discusses how we can protect ourselves from sexual objectification in today's media saying, "Stop consuming damaging material, speak out against objectification, stop seeking attention for your body". I really liked her message in her short documentary, "The sexy lie", because the message does need to be sent out there to everyone who is consuming this form of media. There are some serious damaging effects and we need to be educated on this serious subject and how we can prevent ourselves from being
Nudity: a controversial topic from the beginning of time. It has raised questions such as: Should girls have to cover their shoulders when in the classroom? What is the appropriate length for a pair of shorts? And one of the more famous campaigns should women be allowed to “free the nipple.” Recently nudity has been used by celebrities to show support for presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. This is a controversy because some people believe that a woman using her body as a sexual image promotes the idea that others also have the right to view and support the idea that women are sexualized objects. In this article “Katy Perry’s naked vote reveals more than she wanted” written by Barbra Ellen explores this controversial topic by using many rhetorical devices.
Game of Thrones is a fantasy series known for it’s violence and use of nudity. The story line in the show is complex and compelling. The viewer stays on the edge of their seats as the plot twists and turns. For the plot to succeed nudity is needed, and some sex scenes are key parts in the series. The problem in occurs due to the sheer amount of nudity. With an average of 5.6 boobs per episode it is clear that nudity plays a large part in the series.Game of Thrones deals with the social issue of oversexualization and female objectification throughout the series. The way the show deals with the issue is interesting and complex. While strong female characters exist sex seems to always find it’s way into each episode. The unnecessary nudity added brings the viewers to a point of feeling uncomfortable. Game of Thrones makes an attempt to empower women. However the oversexualization within the show negates empowerment and instead demeans women.
The change from free outside primitive living to a more colonized, modern lifestyle for nudists, continues to advances into present America. The growing interest in the subculture continues to excite new members each day. Nudist strive on teaching and educating the public about their practices and way of life. Nude recreation is not for everyone. Although nudism is advancing and growing day by day, the culture and how the life is still not accepted mainstream. They still open the invitation to anyone interested and always strive for peace and the enjoyment of nature through their recreation and lifestyle.
The male reproductive system is a set of organs that works together to produce sperm which will later in life fertilize females eggs. The testes are the most important part of the system because it produces sperm cells. It is similar and looks similar to ovaries of a female’s reproductive system because it also holds what they need to reproduce. Its job is to produce the sperm cells needed to reproduce. Due to hormonal imbalances the production of sperm cells may not even be possible in some males. Testosterone is the male the hormone that gives men there manly characteristics. It is made up of hydrogen, carbon, and oxygen with a white color. In the male body it helps develop sex organs, a deeper voice, and facial hair (Khalid, 2013). Cancer or a genetic disorder in males is the most common thing that cause the reductions of testosterone production in the body. Behind the testes is the epididymis which lets sperm go through the vas deferens from the testes (Dictionary, 2014). It looks like leach the way it is position right on the testes but it is thinner. When sperm is produces the ...
Gender has been around throughout history; however, within recent years, gender has separated itself from the traditional view of sex, e.i., male or female, and has become centered on ones masculinity or femininity. Of course gender is more than just ones masculinity or femininity, gender has become a way for one to describe, he or she, in a way in which they are different from everyone else. Gender has turned into a sense of identity, a way for one to feel different and fulfilled among all of those around them. Of course gender’s sense of freedom would seem outside of structure and only affected by one’s own agency, however, structure is a key component in establishing gender. We can look into both ethnic Mexican’s culture practices regarding sexuality, children songs and games, and see that cultural traditions still heavily influence gender, creating what is masculine and what is feminine and what is the role of each gender, as well as challenging the notions that gender is solely based on agency.

Gender and sexuality can be comprehended through social science. Social science is “the study of human society and of individual relationships in and to society” (free dictionary, 2009). The study of social science deals with different aspects of society such as politics, economics, and the social aspects of society. Gender identity is closely interlinked with social science as it is based on an identity of an individual in the society. Sexuality is “the condition of being characterized and distinguished by sex” (free dictionary, 2009). There are different gender identities such as male, female, gay, lesbian, transgender, and bisexual that exists all around the world. There is inequality in gender identities and dominance of a male regardless of which sexuality they fall under. The males are superior over the females and gays superior over the lesbians, however it different depending on the place and circumstances. This paper will look at the gender roles and stereotypes, social policy, and homosexuality from a modern and a traditional society perspective. The three different areas will be compared by the two different societies to understand how much changes has occurred and whether or not anything has really changed. In general a traditional society is more conservative where as a modern society is fundamentally liberal. This is to say that a traditional society lists certain roles depending on the gender and there are stereotypes that are connected with the genders. One must obey the one that is dominant and make decisions. On the other hand, a modern society is lenient, It accepts the individual’s identity and sexuality. There is no inequality and everyone in the society is to be seen as individuals not a part of a family unit...
In today’s society, everyone is worried about their external appearance; both with and without clothes on. Women and men experience discomfort, anxiousness, and worry about how they appear to the opposite sex. Some men even worry how they appear in locker rooms to other men, even if they are heterosexual. Media has depicted to a lot of young adults of how women and men should appear and act sexually. Pornography has created false images of how sex should look and feel like, especially women who have perfect sized boobs, perfect sized labia’s and are skinny. Having the best sized boobs and the symmetrically sized labia’s does not determine if sex is pleasurable or not. As mentioned by Laurie Mintz in “A Letter to Young Sexually Active Heterosexual
People often end up on the opposite sides of the argument concerning the fine line between art and pornography. Artists sometimes include nude depictions or descriptions of the human form in their work. The artists and many other liberals and citizens of the art world argue that it is important for artists to feel the freedom to express themselves in any way that they wish. The problem with this liberty is that many people find the nude body offensive and believe that these images should not be considered art but pornography instead. This is a valid and important dilemma, but as Dennis Barrie describes art in a speech that was published in Art Journal, “…sometimes art is not beautiful, and sometimes it’s challenging, and sometimes it’s even offensive, and yet it can be art, even if it’s all those things” (Barrie 30). Artists should always be allowed to express themselves fully and not fear public reprimand despite the risk they may run of offending people who cannot appreciate their work.
What’s with Americas’ problem with nudity? In this day and age why do American’s still flip-out over breasts or genitals? America’s fear of nudity is the problem in society today. If people could learn to accept the nude form then people could hopeful start to accept themselves. People fear the unknown. If people get over themselves and move on then maybe people can see that one doesn’t have to be ashamed of what God gave them. Through art people learn and if people keep censoring art than art can’t do its job.
