Tupac's Murderer Discovered
THE unsolved murder of Lesane Parish Crooks, more widely known as
Tupac Amaru Shakur has finally been solved.
The legendary rapper died on the 13/11/96 after being shot 4 times by
an unknown offender with a semiautomatic pistol. Suspicions targeted
Suge Knight, the president of Death Row records, Notorious B.I.G and
even Tupac himself, some believed he faked it for publicity.
Evidence now shows that a Compton gang, the Southside Crips carried
out the shooting because of Tupac beating one of the gang members just
a few hours before. Orlando Anderson, the member who had been abused
by Tupac, fired the fatal shots. Anderson was killed one year later in
another unrelated gang shooting. Notorious B.I.G (real name
Christopher Wallace), whom Tupac had been feuding with for over a
year, supplied the murder weapon along with an agreement to pay the
Southside gang $100 000 000 if they went through with the killing.
Notorious B.I.G was killed during a shooting 6 months later. His
murder case is unsolved.

Despite the public setting of the event no one was ever arrested for
the murder. A large amount of his followers believed this to be
because of racial discrimination. Police however argue that they did
all they could and witnesses refused to co-operate. They also contend
that a lot of Tupac associates, like the man himself, had criminal
records and displayed a lot of hostility towards the police. Jared
Lewis, a Modesto police detective explained "Gang homicide
investigations are very complex, I can understand how it ended up the
way it has"
Tupac was often referred as the "worlds greatest rap artist". He was
one of the worlds most successful and yet most criticized "gangster
rappers". He had support from black leaders, including the Rev. Jesse
Jackson, who visited him in the hospital, and the Rev. Al Sharpton,
who counselled him in prison.
"I found him a very warm, sensitive and intelligent, person, very
unlike his public image," Sharpton said late Friday.
In Shakespeare’s play Macbeth, the main character, Macbeth, murders King Duncan with the assistance of his devious wife, Lady Macbeth. Although they get away with the murder, they are unable to omit the feeling of remorse, although it affects them in different ways, the outcome is similar for both characters. It is obvious to the reader that killing Duncan inflicted the character’s odd behaviors and unstable mental state because of Shakespeare’s use of imagery related to illness.

Many people have this one thing they ALWAYS do, and Tupac’s was wear a bullet-proof vest. It is so ironic how the night he didn't wear one he ended up getting shot. Tupac was cremated the day after he died. Now who gets cremated the day after they die, no autopsy no nothing. They can’t did him up like they wanted to do with Elvis Presley or former President Abraham Lincoln. The Cadillac that the murderer was in was never found. If someone would have robbed a bank or casino in Las Vegas the police would've been all over the scene. In Atlanta, GA., if someone was shot the police would look for the gunman immediately. However the city that the shooting was in was only about eight blocks who could run away in a city of eight blocks that fast.
It is so hard to become a rapper. But it is harder to become a Great Rapper. I believe Tupac is a great rapper. Not only a great rapper, but the greatest rapper. Like Snoop Dogg had said, “Tupac was many different things at once. Hardheaded and intellectual, courageous and afraid, revolutionary and….oh yeah, don’t get it f***ed up, gangsta.” To be a great rapper, you must have impact, commercial success, be good at song writing, a lot of performances and live shows and lastly, hella good rapping. The first song I heard from tupac was “ambitions az a ridah and all eyes on me” and it was real original so I went and listened to ‘Brenda got a baby’ which made me think “dammmmm he good, he good as hell”
