For the past century, Anthropology has come to be known as a study of an infinite curiosity about humans. Not only concerned with an interest in human beings and their developements, Anthropology is much more broad in concept of trying to understand the relationships between human beings and all possible questions about them. Anthropology is trying to understand all aspects of human beings through the broad discovery, study, interpretation and inference of past and present cultural characteristics. In appling the knowledge aquired, one can gain an understanding of individuals in society, regardless of the resulting conclusion being right or wrong.
The scope of anthropology is much more broad than that of other disciplines ofscience. Anthropology does not only view the world from the life of thosewho lived long ago, but from the people who are living in the present as well. Concerned with details of all generations, Anthropologists attempt to uncover the mysteries of people and their different behaviiors. By tracing the exsistence of those who lived millions of years ago, thosewho stufy this vast field can receive a new strengthened idealology of what life was like so long ago. In this study, Anthropology reveals the advancements of humans and how their achievements have progressed over time. Not always focused on proximal Western society, Anthropologists concentrated on more unknown, exotic cultures full of unexplored and uncharted data. In a global effort, studying human beings has brought forth new discoveries and helped coalace conflicting hypothesis.

Over the years, Anthropology has grown and developed as a secure and specialized discipline that charts a most peculiar of curiosities. Viewing the world before a written language, charting and analyzing all the progress of humans for thousands of years, and experiencing the result of the many changes and differences in culture today, the accomplishments of Anthropology have brought forth a sense of understanding and conveying of knowledge and experience and have set new standard of acheivement. Anthropology is a study of infinite curiosities of human beings. Through that desire to know the reasons for change and variation, Anthropology is the key to understanding the problems of the past and use that knowledge to create a better world for future generations.

Anthropology is a study of mankind that goes beyond the fragment of ones skeletal remains. Anthropology Studies involved within this science include the culture and surroundings a person once lived in.Anthropology, (2014) A example scientist often conduct archaeological digs. Their findings reveal many different aspects of that person or person’s life. The weather a person could have been exposed to. The environment or activities that person might have participated in. The scope of life that can be recovered from human remains is astonishing. Forensic Science as a whole is an impressive and interesting science that can be used within many different realms.

Anthropology is the study of humans. This area of study is subdivided into three sections; cultural anthropology, archeology, and biological anthropology. Biological anthropologists study the anatomy, and evolution of the human body. Biological anthropologists are the ones who assess skeletal remains and determine where, when, and who, the person was. Human skeletal remains are the main component in Forensic Anthropology. Bones can reveal ancestral lineage, gender, height and age of a person.
Anthropology is broadly defined as the study of humans. In it we learn all about how we have changed culturally, linguistically, historically, and physically over time. Like in any of the sciences however, the ideas, thoughts, and practices used in anthropology have change drastically over time. These changes were caused when anthropologist at the time realized that the way that they were doing things were wrong. They also realized that these errors that they were making were creating some issues over time. So in order to prevent future anthropologist from thinking like Morgan did during his time in the present time, they changed their ways. Some of the biggest changes happened post-World War II. Ethnic diversity lies at the core of cultural or social anthropology. Anthropology, derived from Greek, literally means ‘study of human’. The discipline examines, from a holistic, scientific and cross-cultural viewpoint, how humans lived in the past and how they live today, what activities they performed or perform in this day and age and their manners of interacting with members of vast social groups. Being aware of distinctive cultures enables us to see the world from a broader perspective as we become familiar how various traditions stem from distinct populations. Among miscellaneous topics such as archaeology, linguistics, politics and evolution, anthropology also studies matrimony as well as the customs exemplifying it.
Perhaps the most ubiquitous subset in anthropology is the socio-cultural subfield of sociocultural anthropology. This branch analyzes social patterns and customs across cultures. Focusing in particular on how people from different cultures live and their respective societal organization. Sociocultural anthropologists observe societies as a whole entity but break it down into smaller subsections including nationality, race, sexuality, gender and class then look at how these sections work in conjunction to create the entire society. These are the anthropologists which come to my mind when I conjure up a mental image of anthropology, the researcher who “goes-native” immersing themself into a society to gain firsthand knowledge of a distant culture. They learn how a society handles their everyday problems and what is of importance. Some of the areas which this branch of anthropology is concerned with are health, education, agriculture and work.

In some countries, this “new physical anthropology” were still practiced in anthropology departments, while in other countries, it moved into biology departments and museums. Lindee and Santos’ suggestion is that a deeper understanding of the development of biological anthropology across a larger range can be educational and productive. Recent discussions within anthropological circles in the United States often fail to consider that in other countries, biological anthropology has been practiced for many decades separate from other areas of anthropology. G´ısli Pa´lsson proposed that anthropology is currently organized around two radically separated domains: biological and social. Humans are both social and biological, not either or, and studying human beings should be both as well. Biological anthropology, with its emphasis on understanding human biology in social terms, seems to fill the privileged epistemic position in relation to social anthropology.
Since its inception, the academic discipline of anthropology has gone through constant paradigm shifts. In the nineteenth century, anthropology began as a nomothetic study based upon the development of cultures and societies through the process of evolution. Later on, several anthropologists particularly Franz Boas shifted the nomothetic approach of American anthropology into an idiographic approach, which focuses on assessing the development of cultures individually as their own separate entity. (Moore 2012:161) In the twentieth century, however, anthropology ushered in another paradigm shift. It analyzes similarities and differences in various cultures and societies. Culture is learned and affects our perception of the world throughout our life. Overtime, a sense of cultural superiority is formed amongst individuals who are constantly exposed to their own culture. Anthropology can help eliminate culturally based biases, also known as ethnocentrism. It is a common practice we all in engage in when evaluating other cultures, however, by practicing anthropology this allows us to learn about other cultures by placing themselves into the cultural environment allows us to learn the traditions and customs by experience. Marjorie Shostak`s study of the !Kung people revealed that they organized themselves differently than Western cultures, which included solving conflicts with discussion, communal behavior, and basic living traditions. Moreover, by interviewing and living in this cultural environment, Shostak was able to empathize with the !Kung people and she also considered that all humans share an emotional life, which is important when studying the history of our human
Cultural anthropology known as the comparative study of human societies and cultures and their development. Cultural anthropology is also known as the study of human cultures, their beliefs, practices, values, ideas, technologies, economies and other domains of social and cognitive organization. Cultural anthropology studies how human cultures are shaped or shape the world around them and it focus a lot on the differences between every person. Human societies has been culturally involved throughout generations because of human development and advanced. The goal of a cultural anthropology is to teach us about another culture by collecting data about how the world economy and political practices effect the new culture that is being studied. However, cultural anthropology has gave us a understanding of world affairs and world problems, the way to interpret the meaning of social actions by putting them in as much context as possible, and a deeper insight of humankind-at all times, in all places and of yourself as part of a culture.
Since humans have come together, there has been culture, and while we continue to live there will continue to be culture. Culture is a thing that we as humans all have in common, but our culture is also what keeps us apart. Anthropology is the study of humans, how we work, what are our rituals, the study of our past. The anthropological perspective is how one must look at culture or at another society to observe it without bias and without judgement. There are four important parts to observing through the anthropological perspective the first being the concept of culture, holistic perspective, comparative perspective, and culture relativism. Through the study of cultural anthropology one, will understand how societies as people are the same and how they are different. The same things that make societies different make them the same. It is also important to understand why and how societies work. The anthological perspective is an important part of viewing cultures.
