Premature ejaculation is one of the most common problems affecting men today. Many men suffer from this embarrassing problem. They are desperate to overcome this problem but do not know the suitable methods. Men affected by premature ejaculation lack the ejaculatory control to last long enough in bed to satisfy their partner, almost always unable to bring a woman to orgasm and the solution for this problem will be discussed.
According to Delvin(n.d), the first solution to treat premature ejaculation is by cognitive behavior treatment. Stop-start technique can be applied to treat this problem. First of all, the man will be given a time to masturbate alone with dry hands. Then, the man is advice to stop before coming to orgasm. He should repeat this three times and he is allowed to ejaculate on the fourth time. Besides that, using a wet hand, he can try masturbating where he can feel more like real as putting his penis inside the vagina after he can control orgasm using dry hand. In addition, men also can try Master-Johnson techniques. With vigilant training, the finger-grip wipe out the craving to climax and the man can make their partner smile with blissful on the bed. Master and Johnson are the American therapists whom invented a unique method call penis-grip. In my opinion, sex plays a big role in marriage life. Having premature ejaculation will make some couple cannot have a wonderful sex, so for those man that having this kind of problems should take an action to give the true happiness to their couples.
Men can come up with a solution to this problem by taking some medicine and trusted pills such as DuraMale, Prejac and Enlast (“Premature ejaculation pill review”, n.d, para. 3). But on top of all it must be understood on...

Sildenafil is a pharmaceutical breakthrough not only because it is the most effective treatment for erectile dysfunction available, but also because it is "the first in a new class of medications" (FDA, par. 3). But to understand how this drug works, it is necessary to explain the physiology of erection in the normally functioning male. Under normal circumstances, sexual excitement results in the release of nitric oxide. Next, the nitric oxide will activate guanylate cyclase, ...
A kind of sexual dysfunction that affect men is generally termed as erectile dysfunction or impotence. As a result, the person will not be able to develop or maintain an erection of the penis during sexual intercourse. The term and condition is familiar for most of the people in the current society. It can be considered as one of the main causes for infertility issues. Studies have also found another surprising fact that, worse erectile dysfunction may increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, heart failure, peripheral vascular disease and ischemic heart disease etc. All these tend to recommend an early test and diagnosis for mild and moderate levels of erectile dysfunction in individuals. Sexual dysfunction can be defined as the inability to partake in or enjoy sexual relationship with one's partner as a result of underlying physical and/or psychological factors (Hoel, 1998). Physical attributions play a large part in both males and females and their ability to perform and enjoy sex. Males encounter several normal changes as they become older. A decrease in the hormone testosterone is very common amongst males with increasing age. Testosterone is beneficial because it gives a decrease in body fat, an increase in energy, including sexual energy, and an increase in lean muscle. These factors are important for physical attraction one has for another, definitely improving the outcome of sexual arousal. The size and firmness of the testicles may be reduced because of this decrease as well. The sexual response phase also changes with age. During the beginning of sex, an older man may experience a delay in his erection and when erect, the penis may not be as firm as when younger. ...

For my Out of the Box Activity, I watched a documentary that followed the story of 3 women who were tormented 24/7 with the need to have orgasm. The documentary explained how Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome (PSAS) causes this unusual condition characterized by throbbing, spontaneous and irrepressible genital arousal in females. PSAS is a little known neurological disorder and the victim's arousal is not linked to sexual desire. Most important to note is that PSAS is actually not related to hyper-sexuality, aka nymphomania. Not only is PSAS very rare, the disorder is seldom reported by the affected individual, who may think it is shameful and embarrassing or that they are the only people on the planet that have the disorder. Rachel, a woman from Atlanta, GA explains that she has to use rigorous control over her body to prevent a climax. “They come every 30 seconds for four to six [or] sometimes eight hours, and I'm sure that's well up in the hundreds - I'm not a math person, but I'm sure it's up there.” I cannot imagine having constant arousal with blood engorging in my genitals fo...

There is a combination of things that come in effect when it comes to an orgasm in the brain. Neurotransmitters, and neuro-peptides for example, are heavily involved in the sexual response. To reach an orgasm, the central nervous system sends orders to the heart, so that it pumps faster, sending blood to oxygenate the increase of blood flow in muscles involved in sexual activity. Nitric oxide, serotonin, dopamine, epinephrine, and norepinephrine, are just a few of the neurotransmitters and neuro-peptides involved in sexual activity. Nitric oxide (NO) plays a critical role in both male and female sexuality. In penile erections, NO stimulates the release of guanylate cyclase, which, in turn, converts GTP to cGMP and produces relaxation of smooth muscles and increased blood flow into the penis. This information is used in the popular drug sildenafil (ViagraTM) that inhibits the metabolism of cGMP to prolong the effects of the erection. (1) Serotonin's role in sexual function is that of constriction of smooth muscles in the genitals, and peripheral nerve function.

Sex plays an important role in growing a beautiful relation between a couple. It nurtures the relation by creating a bond that would last for lifetime. Though regular sex equally has several other healthy benefits, but the adverse change in lifestyle and other factors has brought a disorder in men, that has brought tremendous change in the sex life of the couple leading to anguish, depression and frustration. Erectile dysfunction is a disorder, prevailing commonly on men above the age of 40,but these days stress, health issues and lack of exercise has increased the rate of ED. Although there are physical reasons why someone may experience erectile dysfunction or sexual issues, many cases are caused by what is going on in your mind. When something psychological is the problem, taking a little blue pill will not help for long. You need to treat erectile dysfunction at the source by dealing with the subconscious thoughts that are the root cause.

Arousal Disorder is the inability to become physically aroused or excited during sexual activity. Sexual arousal disorders were known as frigidity in women and impotence in men. “Occasional impotence occurs in approximately 50 percent of American adult men, and chronic impotence affects about 1 in 8 American men, with the chances increasing as a person ages.” High blood pressure, smoking and liver disease are a few causes of Arousal disorder. Self-stimulation and the Masters and Johnson treatment strategies are used to treat problems associated with orgasm and sexual arousal disorders.
