Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a widespread concept that is rarely and difficult to understand, which affects over a million men and women, at any age, worldwide. Post-traumatic stress disorder can lead to individuals experiencing intense flashback of horror events, fear and physical reactions about the experience from this disorder. It is found that individuals diagnosed with post-traumatic disorder may experience some of the examples of traumatic events; that includes physical assault, early childhood assault, and natural disasters such as a flood, fire, or tornado (Harrison, Satterwhite, & Ruday, 2010).
Some analysis related to PTSD that can obstruct social functioning and interpersonal skills. Several examples of hindering veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder are poor social interactions such as less networking in the social environment, from the community as a whole. Also, a veteran diagnosed with PTSD, striving to improve their interpersonal skills, unwanted thought patterns, insecure relationships, and not striving to change social functioning. One study re...
