The results of going to college the very first time vary with different people. Some people will be frightened by the way of life change, and the transition from living with family to being by their selves. On the other hand some people will be ready to move on, and to proceed with their future, and will jump at the moment to take another class that will better themselves. College will provide difficulties around every corner but will also provide the opportunities to go around those difficulties to succeed.
When in an online college a difficulty may arise where a class will interfere with outside activities such as work and will usually temporize with their school work. Furthermore a student, with the change in scenery and scheduling, will feel impenetrable to the way of life, which may cause the student to drop out. With these difficulties the anticipation of several problems may seem more of a way of life than an obstacle to overcome. One of the biggest problems that an online student may run into may be a scheduling issue. As an example most students will be taking online...

Most people today think of college as simply a place to get a better education, or merely as a steppingstone to financial success. College is far more than that. College is an experience that shapes a person, which can have both positive and negative outcomes. It is all up to the students to make the college experience worth their time and effort. Students must realize the importance of the responsibilities now demanded of them by higher education.
The outcome of a higher education will bring the success you were seeking, find your interests, navigate you to diverse opportunities, and even improve your critical thinking on daily routines. Knowing these skills properly, you’ll have a quicker reaction on how to deal with unexpected situation. For me, college will guide me to a successful future, increase my opportunities in life, improve my daily skills, and teach me to become more aware on situations. Most of all, college will help me influence other family members to attend by showing them how successful one can become with a higher

Difficulties Attending College Today everyone thinks in order to succeed financially in life they need to have a college education, or at least most of the time this is true. I personally think that despite the many difficulties that a person is faced with, they can overcome their troubles somehow, even though sometimes they can not help but think otherwise. I, myself, have three different reasons why people find it difficult to stay in college. For one, sometimes they still have to keep on working while going to school. Two, they have children, too.
It is not as easy as people say and think it is. It is more fun than how some people describe. The experience is beneficial for everyone to have. It has the potential to be a new start and the beginning of a bright future. It can bring a new career to an individual. Being a college student is what I’m talking about. There are a number of varying points of view on college.
Nevertheless, these students will leave college with a positive consequence of having a stronger understanding of what they want to do in life and what type of person they are. Also, college is a great
It just shows you that you will have to make sacrifices for certain that you love just to get something you need to be done. College helps you expand your mind for other things. It helps you expand and make you look for multiple options instead of just having one. You can come in with one vision but end up having more than you thought you would
I was never one of the protégées, who was born an outstanding athlete; I didn't even consider myself to be an athlete until my sophomore year of high school actually. I got involved in running somewhat accidentally. One of my friends convinced me to join track and considering I was very out of shape, throwing seemed like the best fit. Two weeks in, it turned out that throwing was not for me, so I decided that I would try the mile or in track terms, the 1600m. Ever since then, I’ve been a runner.
From my college experience, I hope to gain many things. Obviously college is a time that students can truly become individuals. When I attend college I will have the opportunity to become more independent and to take on new responsibilities. I have always relied on my parents for support, but at college I will be on my own and will have to push myself harder. This will help me to become more mature and will help me grow in character. I have long awaited for the time to be independent and now is the time that I shall prove myself.
Sometimes hardships and challenges are one of the best thing that could happen to you. My senior year comes and right before my football season started i tore a ligament in my knee that could possibly end my season. I was devastated i couldn't do what i love to do, i went to an orthopedic to figure out my options and it was either call it a season and get my surgery or i could deal with the injury and do what i can for as long as i could. I didn't want to let my senior season go just like that and i didnt want to let down my brothers that worked all my 4 years together with day in and day out.
One of the major advantages of an online degree program is the flexibility it provides to someone working a demanding job, living geographically removed from a college campus, or that simply finds it most convenient for a host of other reasons. These challenges of the modern workforce have in fact been the big driver behind the exponential rise in online degree programs over the past decade. Furthermore, the flexibility provided by an online degree program enables tailoring a program matched to personal learning style and pace.
Some students within society need to have online learning to complete college degrees due to their lifestyles. While it is good to have online learning as an option if one chooses, it should not be the only option available to some students. Some may argue that online education is not creating discrimination within the educational environment. Furthermore, some may suggest that online learning is benefiting our students in society. There has been a breakthrough in time and geographical limitations of education via online courses (Ho, 2009).
A main concern that many students have while attending college is time. Trying to find the time to work, spend time with their family, and go to school can be very stressful for some students. Someone who does not work, or doesn’t have kids might not have an issue with fitting time into their schedule for traditional classes. For the students who do have a busy life might find it harder to attend a traditional classroom, so they have the option of taking online classes and making the classes fit around their time schedule.
Many students say online courses are convenient. Online courses allow students to plan according to their schedule, and the time and location that best works for them. Although online education may seem more “easier,” students should look at the cons of online education. In the feature article "Face-Face or Online Instruction? Face-Face is Better," the author, Arleen R. Bejerano, claims online courses take the students away from the college community and confines them to their home. The students no longer have interaction with the college community, which may cause them to miss out on some important opportunities. This may affect their possibility of succeeding to achieve a degree. The author suggests some students may become discouraged from learning independently, from facing challenges in academics, and fall behind or
