Introduction

The following paper should tackle the general narrative which teaches us that Germany was the only aggressor of the German-Polish war. It should as well identify the underlying causes of the outbreak as well as to find out who and which countries where the main aggressors besides Germany. This paper will be chronological structured which means that I try to go with history and dates. The first major event we have to look at is definitely the war treaty of Versailles.

The Treaty of Versailles

The treaty of Versailles should be the contract after the Second World War where all the winning countries came together and signed a peace treaty in order to stop the fights. What a lot of people forget is that the moving of the troops back home from the fronts and the war zones was actually negotiated in the 14 points Wilson plan rather in the later negotiated Treaty of Versailles. ...vernment does against their people. The treaty of Locarno was the major sign for Europe that Germany didn’t want to have war. A lot of people misinterpret this treaty as it is a demilitarization treaty rather than a status quo piece of contract. The treaty ensured Germany a safe side against the west (France). The mobilization a year ahead of the outbreak of the war of the polish troops was a signal for Germany that they want to attack them but then shortly before they invaded Danzig the English signed a treaty with Poland to help in case Hitler attacks. BUT Hitler never attacked Poland. England and France declared war on Germany because they had a treaty with Poland, similar to the 1st World war when Germany helped Austria due to a treaty which was made beforehand. The general narrative always forgets about the main aggressor of this war which is clearly Poland.
