When plastic water bottles or plastic bags are thrown into the ocean,it kills as much as 1,000,000 sea creatures a year.There is a floating object twice the size of Texas and is floating somewhere between San Francisco and Hawaii.It is made out of 80% plastic and weighs about 3.5 million tons.Thanks to wastewater treatment, it purges the water to remove all of the contaminents and plastic that people dont recycle before it enters our landfills.Plumbing and technology have improved and combined together to protect the health of people and the environment.They have created many ways to use the earth’s natural resources to help the world.For example, they have created geothermal heating which is using the earth's heat and transfering it from the ground into people's homes to heat their homes.Plumbing plays a big role in making life easier for people.All plumbing fixtures are designed and installed to keep people from getting sick or killed.P-traps are installed in any fixtures that are connected to the sewer becuase the they block the flow of dangerous sewer gases from entering your home.Currently today’s plumbing systems have changed to help make people’s lives easier and healthier.

Improved fluoridated water systems have improved people’s health.Debra Ronka insists that fluoride is a positive thing to have in our water systems because it strengthens and protects our teeth.Sugars and bacteria destroy the enamel on your teeth which cause cavities.Fluoride helps reduce tooth decay and can also have cost savings (parag.1).This shows that fluoride is good for our water systems because it strengthens and protects our teeth.It helps build the enamel or the hard covering of your teeth.When you eat sugars or bacteria, it is washed over y...
