General
As a well organised individual, I am able to plan effective and innovative lessons and mark and assess pupils work on a regular basis so that targets can be set enabling pupils to expand their learning further. By doing this I can give regular feedback to the pupils throughout their projects which encourages pupils to work to their best ability and can help towards building positive relationships with the pupils.
Having a wide interest in technology I have been open to learning all subject areas within Design Technology during my two placement schools. Thus having a knowledge in all areas which I can teach at Key Stage 3. I am confident at teaching Graphic Design or Products up to A-Level and Electronics and Resistant Materials at Key Stage 4. I also have a good knowledge in ICT both using Windows computers and Apple Macs, using programs such as Microsoft Works and Adobe Suite.
PGCE Course
During my PGCE course I have opted to do as many of the add on courses possible within m timetable. One which is a Subject Knowledge Booster Course in Electronics, which has helped me gain valuable knowledge on the appropriate software such as Circuit Wizard and Crocodile Clips, Pic-Chips and other components which are used in Electronics projects. I also designed and made a doorbell, which could be taught to pupils at Key Stage 3.
The second additional course was working with Rotherham Ready, learning how to be and enterprising teacher. From this I have a project which can be used as a Key Stage 3 project, combining Textiles with Sustainability.
The last course I have chosen to do is a Strand 2 module concerning The Diploma in particular the Creative and Media Diploma, from this course I have collected vital information which can ...

I have also made positive changes to a year 7 Electronics project which the school has taught for several years, updating the design of the circuit board and the ways in which the pupils design and make he product.
I have also been involved in encouraging the department to bring in modern technologies. After suggesting the benefits of a Dye Sublimator myself and another teacher of the department attended a course to sample benefits the Sublimator could offer, and the department are looking into buying one for next year. As well as this I am due to attend a Circuit wizard Course to enhance my knowledge of the software as well as promote this software to my current school.
Finally I am currently taking part in a First Aid course the school is running which will benefit the department which uses machinery that has health and safety risks.
I’m ambitious to learn new things especially when I'm interested in them; this course provides me with a continuous learning platform that will progress through university as
The chart depicted below shows the scope and sequence plan for a 200-hour Information and Software Technology (IST) course. The course covers the syllabus as prescribed by the Board of Studies, New South Wales ("Information and Software Technology Years 7–10: Syllabus", 2003, p. 15-30).This course covers the following optional topics: 1) Digital Media, 2) Database Design, 3) Software Development & Programming and 4) Internet & Website Development. The projects or tasks associated with the optional topics incorporate the core topics listed below: C1- Design Produce and Evaluate, C2-Data Handling, C3-Hardware, C4- Issues, C5-Past, Current and Emerging Technologies, C6-People, and C7-Software. The prefix C1-C7 identifies the core topic and would be used in the chart to the show the link between the course and the prescribed syllabus Wales ("Information and Software Technology Years 7–10: Advice on Programming and Assessment", 2003, p. 6). The expected outcomes are listed as numerical identifiers of stage 5 outcomes taken from the Information and Software Technology Years 7–10: Syllabus (2003, p. 12-13) document. For example, outcome 5.2.1 in term1 of year 9 points to “describes and applies problem-solving processes when creating solutions” of stage 5 outcomes (Information and Software Technology Years 7–10: Syllabus, 2003).
There are a lot of reasons why I chose to pursue pharmacy as my career and they all point to the most important reason: pharmacy is a great fit for my life and is something I have become increasingly passionate about. It started when I was researching careers with my parents and my dad suggested pharmacy and, simply put, it sparked my interest because at the time it was one of the few things I thought I would not hate doing. A healthcare career has always been where I put myself in the future, mainly because most of my family members are in the healthcare field. However, I have never been one that could directly help the wounded or deal with anything gory, but am very intrigued by the growing science of pharmacy. As I continue exploring pharmacy, the more I enjoy learning about it and feel like I could excel in this career.
Whoosh!A bed whizzed by, surrounded by about 6 medical personnel. “What’s going on?” I thought immediately with apprehension. I knew whatever was happening it was not ideal. Ensuring I was not in the way, I stood on my toes to see what demanded so much attention. To my astonishment, I saw a coin sized hot-pink little girl. She could not have been bigger than two quarters lying side by side. She was struggling! Even with all the procedures the doctors were executing to save her life, she was performing the most work.
My perseverance has prepared me for a career in medicine. The path towards becoming a physician can be long and challenging, necessitating the ability to endure. My ability to bounce back from setbacks and mistakes has solidified throughout my journey. One of the cornerstone experiences of my personal development occurred during high school. My determination led to me my graduating as valedictorian of my class, while balancing three varsity sports and several extracurricular activities. In addition, I worked on weekends to help support my family financially. This persistence resulted in scholarship awards that made higher education a possibility.

Please discuss the following items in the order given. Briefly respond to all areas listed.
As I was undecided about what age level I wanted to focus on, the information from this course has allow me to focus on Secondary Education with a content in Mathematics. Thank you and I hope to learn more information in the next 3
Some of the planning that I did helped the students in other classes and even my own. During one part of the semester, we researched different ideas for the horticulture class students to implement in the schoolyard project that they were involved with. Others used my ideas and research in my class on their personal sustainability papers, university sustainability papers, and even their own personal goals to being sustainable.

What do you expect to learn from this course that will help you develop in the areas you’ve identified?
The core courses will help me strengthen my knowledge and competencies needed to design and implement interactive computing systems that benefit humans. The flexibility of the program will allow me choose electives that matches my interest. The elective, Designing User Experiences for Internet-enabled Devices has captivated me the most. I find user interface enhancement, game designing, creating rich multimedia experiences and mobile application development really interesting and I also find the courses related to website development enthralling. I aspire to acquire the ability to understand human psyche and how humans react to new methods of technology. The program will give me platforms to explore these areas of my
We need to continuously assess and evaluate our students so we can set appropriate goals for each student and individual instructions. Each child learns different, so as a teacher we need to have different styles of teaching for positive reinforcement.
In the process of completing this coursework, I have realised that every teacher should be all-rounded and equipped with adequate skills of educating others as well as self-learning. As a future educator, we need make sure that our knowledge is always up-to-date and applicable in the process of teaching and learning from time to time. With these skills, we will be able to improvise and improve the lesson and therefore boost the competency of pupils in the process of learning. In the process of planning a lesson, I have changed my perception on lesson planning from the student’s desk to the teacher’s desk. I have taken the responsibility as a teacher to plan a whole 60-minutes lesson with my group members. This coursework has given me an opportunity
In terms of Personal Development I feel that the course has helped me to develop the skills I need to improve my grades, and to build my confidence.
