Recommended: Impact of modern technology on lives

Technology equipments such as computers, mobile phones, handheld devices and more are very common among most of the people in the 21st century. Most of the people, especially teens, own at least one or more technology devices to aid their lifestyle as well as make it easier. SUNY Plattsburgh, the college which I am pursuing my degree at now, it is very common when you see most students walk around campus looking at their mobile phone or talking through a mobile phone. However, are people really overly depenedent on technology nowadays? Maybe, but I would like to disagree this statement. It is very true that technology had dominated most of our lives and it is not a rare situation when you walk into a restaurant, seeing a group of people sitting around just playing their phones but it does not mean that we could not survive without technology.
Technology is very useful and had made our lives more efficient. As a college student, I often encounter to many specific scientific knowledge and the Internet had provided me the channel to understand what I want to know in matter of seconds. With a few clicks away on Google, for example, I could already start studying and answering my questions. It is far more efficient than heading to the library and look through different books to find the specific information that I need. Technology is not a drug, it is a tool that made most of our lives easier. To many people who mentioned people are overly dependant on technolgy for knowledge, I would like to strengthen the point that technology and books are tools for us to learn. By having one tool that is far more efficient than another, I am sure most of us would pick the tool that provides the most efficiency so we could save more time and lea...

If given different ways to complete something that gives the same result, one would be smart to choose a way that is the most efficient to save time and resources. The presence of technology had made our lives easier and more efficient than before. It is such an anticipation to acknowledge how will technology continues to grow and help human into better lifestyles and more discovery. People should acknowledge technology and appreciate presence of it for the sake of human civiliation. The most important thing is we should have faith in people, and allow people to create more wonderful things with technology.
