Recommended: Private car vs public transportation

To many people public transportation is a plus. It is cheap, reliable, and it takes you anywhere you want to go. Common people use public transportation every day, to some it’s part of their daily routine, to others it is an emergency measure or just to a reliable way to travel to get somewhere they have to go. But are there any dark, secret, and negative effects that the people in our community do not think of? Many people answer yes to this question and say public transportation is death, death to our planet. They say public transportation although, cheap reliable and is everywhere all around communities helping low income people that can’t afford to own a car, or even people who can afford owning a car but choose to take public transportation to a place because it might be easier for them or because gas prices are too high and public transportation is cheaper, is death to our environment. This however is not a concrete fact. Yes cars are advancing and are heading into a new era of electric powered cars, but so is public transportation with their new dash and bus models.
It is true that cars are advancing so much in today’s society that many are keeping up with the “go green” style to save our environment and keep our communities environmentally friendly. According to the article Electric Vehicles: The Modern and Effective way to Save Environment, it indicates that “electric vehicles are not only alternatives but promise a greener Future”, this means that cars in today’s society area advancing so much that now they show a promising future where our environment, our atmosphere will be healthier. ...s Angeles County is 9.6 million people. Meaning many of them will take the bus at least once in the day, so instead of criticizing the bus, the dash or any other mode of public transportation try and do something to better it, for the people and most importantly for our planet. Because yes cars are improving and are heading towards a bright future of healthier engines and motors that will benefit the environment, but so is public transportation. Many things are being done and accomplished in order for this movement of go green to take effect in the public mode of transportation.
In conclusion public transportation is heading towards a cleaner and safer mode of transportation for both people and our planet, so before judging lets use our facts and learn to deal with improvements even if slow with sophisticated analysis of the situation and well with an open mind.
