Ever since the case of Roe v. Wade in 1973, abortion has been one of the most contentious issues in our society. Abortion of a child is a controversial topic with many viewpoints, pros and cons that never settle its ground. It’s like a never ending argument but which side should people really look into. Over 1.3 million abortions are done yearly in the United States. How would you feel if someone decided that you should never get a chance at life? Especially if the one deciding would be the one who has created you. Influence of a partner on abortion has lead to those millions of deaths to rise. How strong is the influence of one on another to commit such a strong decision for abortion? Prior to confirming abortions, women mostly have a few reasons to do so. They say that having a baby would interfere with work, school or other responsibilities; they cannot afford a child; and don’t want to have problems with their husband or a partner. Around 1 percent involves rape. As to killing a baby fetus so that it doesn’t interfere with your work or school is quite redundant to mention. There are many places where you can place your baby for the time matter. Many schools even have day cares for children. Raising a child for many families will come up to a large paycheck thus might be hard for some, even thou government often supports low income families with children. But the main focus of this paper will be the women who proceed to mention their “partner” as a main source of committing abortion. Woman’s reproductive decisions are hers alone. But men can often resort to violence. Men- boyfriends, husbands, often hold a huge role as to whether or not their partner will ... ... middle of paper ... ... the age there in. Thou many times it is their partner who influences the mother to have an abortion. They have many ways to persuade future moms and as a result they kill an unborn child. Numbers would have been way lower if husbands and boyfriends wouldn’t do such actions. Number would of defiantly fall under a million abortions a year. Abortion is a serious issue and a lot of thinking should be performed prior of having the procedure done. Works Cited "Facts About Abortion: U.S. Abortion Statistics." Society can influence one to change their appearance, lifestyle, and moral values. But with one person’s detailed research and in-depth analysis of a few major flaws occurring today, victims of society can have a voice in which they can scream sense back into our corrupt lifestyle in our crumbled society. By the time this essay has been read, about (number) (one child for every 2.6 seconds) innocent humans will have the opportunity of life snatched away from them in a brutal and excruciatingly painful way. Society has an amazing ability to create the impression that this process, a morally incorrect and physically harmful action, is not only acceptable but encouraged. This impression has placed enormous pressure on women who are faced with this option, and thus society must take the responsibility to unveil abortion for what it actually is, an act of murder.
Overtime there has been a debate over whether or not the act of aborting a baby should be a legal option. This controversial issue continues to divide America. Many individuals that are pro-choice believe that choosing to have an abortion is a woman’s right that should not be judged by governmental or religious authorities. Many individuals that are pro-life believe that abortion is the immoral killing of an innocent human being. According to opponents, it is unfair to allow abortions when couples who cannot conceive are willing to adopt a child. There are many pro and con arguments over whether abortions should be legal.
The choices you make can affect you in every way, past or present, mentally or physically. The controversy over abortion all depends on your choice only and the way you personally view this dispute.
There are many limitations valued when it comes to the right of abortion. The news media still outlines the pros and cons of anti-abortion rights in certain-states-to soon, the entire country. My perspectives on the issue of abortion have been entitled from it to never be banned among citizen’s rights. The reproduction of pregnancy has been emphasized heavily on a mother’s decision to abort their child, but the father of the child plays an active role since he considers to that particular title. Through this current issue, majority of the people against abortion do not seem to have an open mind to how much it primarily affects the decision of the mother amongst her own views of considering abortion.
What creates individuality in us is the ability to have the right to our own opinion. As the rape culture and teenage pregnancy becomes a more apparent issue, abortion surfaces itself as a leading topic in today’s society. Although contraception may be an option for everyone, there are still risks involved and mistakes to be made. Females from a wide range of age groups frequently have abortions today because of wrong decisions and special circumstances. We see various advertisements and propaganda emerging all around us. The news media still continue to outline the pros and cons of having an abortion. Abortion has been the subject of debate for centuries between many human rights activists, religious groups, and even health care practitioners.

When pregnancy is unwanted women perceive the choice of abortion as the least of three evils: abortion, adoption, or keeping the child (Smith, 2000). Pregnancy changes a woman's life, regardless of whether or not it ends in abortion. The woman making the abortion decision looks at a variety of relationships to help her make the decision. Often, she will discuss her options with a physician or counselor. If she does decide to get an abortion, there are many factors she will have to face. According to an article in Business 2.0, written by David Shribman (2000), women who have had abortions are at greater risk of suffering emotional and psychological problems which may interfere with their ability to concentrate, make decisions, and interact with others.
