“To draw you must close your eyes and sing.” Picasso was an artist at even a young age. His mother claimed that he was drawing when he was one. His paintings were beautiful, no matter what was happening or what they looked like (“Famous”). Picasso was one of the world's greatest artists changing people's views of art in that abstract art can be beautiful and yet complex at the same time. On October 25, 1881 Don José Ruiz y Blasco and Maria Picasso y López gave birth to a baby boy. Little did they know that one day, he would be one of the greatest and well known artist of the world. However, Picasso’s father was a painter, a professor of art, and the curator of the local museum (“Pablo Picasso and His Paintings”). His father said he was very impressed with his son’s drawings at a young age.
