Airsoft is a fun sport that is played all over the world, from America to Germany to China and Japan, and everywhere in between. For those of you who do not know what airsoft is, it is a combat simulation in which players try to eliminate or “kill” other players by shooting them with a small, plastic BB fired from an airsoft gun. Most people familiar with airsoft think that in order to participate in an airsoft match they must have a military uniform and equipment with guns that cost $400 or more. That is not true; anyone with even a low budget can compete in an airsoft match, so long as you follow the rules, and apply the proper airsoft courtesy.
While anyone can compete in an airsoft match, there are limits to what you must have in order to compete. You must have, at minimum, an airsoft gun (obviously), a pair of full seal goggles, a dead rag, and be decently dressed. Full seal goggles are any goggles with any and all spaces being smaller than 6mm (the dimension of an airsoft BB); there are masks that are made specifically for airsoft and paintball, they usually cost between $10.00 and $20.00 ("Walmart.com"). A dead rag is a brightly colored piece of cloth that you tie on your arm or head after you have been “killed” so that way no one shoots you later thinking that you are a threat. While you can wear just about whatever you want to an airsoft match, there is a limit to what your teammates will tolerate you wearing to an airsoft match. You must wear shoes, and you cannot wear a speedo, bikini, or any other kind of swim suit; essentially the same clothing requirements for service at McDonalds® apply in airsoft. One important thing that all airsofters need to do is to treat everyone with the respect that is owed to them, treat the airsoft referees like you would in any other sport, and always remember to treat airsofters as you would want to be treated, with kindness and respect.

It is a sporting equipment and as such we can easily connect it with fun and competition, it also has holes drilled for the fingers, which leads to a better grip, more control. On the other hand, it is heavy, thus it is something that wants to get away from you, it is hard to hold control of it, it needs those holes drilled if we want to somewhat control it.
There are three main areas of paintball that I will be analyzing. First the way in which a paintball leaves the barrel of a paintball marker. Second the way in which a paintball fly's through the air and lastly how to determine optimum ranges for paintballs.

The airmobility concept is one of Army Aviation’s most prominent battlefield innovations, almost single handedly shaping the Vietnam War and in many ways, helping to influence how we fight wars today. In its essence, airmobility is a concept that utilizes Army aircraft in order to enhance the ground forces’ ability to perform the five fundamentals of combat: command and control, firepower, intelligence, mobility, and communications (Rottman, 2007). At the zenith of the airmobility concept is the airmobile assault or commonly known today as, the air assault. The airmobile assault was more than just moving troops from point A to point B; it involved intense planning and preparation. When implemented correctly, the airmobile assault provided light infantry greater mobility on the battlefield, along with the ability to seize the initiative and to synchronize attacks.
On the morning of September 11, 2001, four airplanes were hijacked and two of them, brought the collapse of the World Trade Center towers in New York City. As a result of these attacks on the United States, airports have come to the realization that the only way to prevent another hijacking is by strengthening the security on aircrafts through the cockpit. In order to secure the cockpit and ensure the safety of the passengers on board, guns were introduced as a possible solution in the event of an emergency situation like those that took place in September of 2001.

World War II was one of the deadliest military conflicts in history. There were many different battles that took place within this war; some more important than others. World War II began once Germany’s new dictator, Adolf Hitler, decided that he wanted to gain power for Germany and for himself. One of Hitler’s first moves in power was invading Poland on September 1, 1939. Many other countries became involved in this war because of the alliance system. The two sides during this war were the Allies and Axis powers. German, Italy and Japan were on the Axis powers; France, Britain, and the United States were on the Allies. Germany first began with the Blitzkrieg tactic meaning “lightning war”. This tactic is based on speed, surprise and was the most popular tactic. It is set up with military forces based around tanks which are supported by planes and infantry. The Blitzkrieg tactic lead to air wars with airplanes between countries. All of the countries were allowed to participate in the air wars but the four main countries were United States, Japan, Britain, and Germany. During the 1920’s and 1930’s airplanes grew in size and structure giving them more power, and making planes more effective. Planes made it easier to drop bombs, or plan attacks. All of these countries fought over air superiority. Air superiority is the position in which the air force has control over all of the air warfare and air power of the opposing forces. I’m the type of guy that would go out and buy a Call of Duty game, pop it open and gather all my friends and jump right into it. Call of Duty is one of the most popular games out and many people love to play. It is competitive, it has online play, and you can also create a clan or group to play against other people around the world online. Call of Duty dates back to 2003 and really wasn’t popular then because it’s all about killing your enemy. Many parents didn’t want their child to play the game. Growing up, I didn’t know much about video games, so I wasn’t really into them until I started playing Call of Duty. The main inventions during the early phases of small arms development quickly gave way to the next innovation, although they were slow to be adapted to military use due to the cost of their production. As time went on these innovations became more and more stagnant to the point of there being no major innovations in the field for close to two hundred years. However, after this stagnant period, there began another period of advanced innovation in the area of small arms technology. The goal of this essay is to understand and dissect the innovations that occurred during these two periods of advanced innovation and the cultural and historical factors that lead to them.
