Organ Donation Organ donation is a lifesaving process that gives hope to thousands of people that are suffering from organ failure. Organ donation provides individuals of organ need with a second chance at life. Deciding to be an organ donor is the most important step of the process. After making this heroic decision, it is very important for individuals to register their intent in the state’s donor registry database. Additionally, one should indicate their decision on their driver’s license and also tell family, friends, faith leaders, and physician about the decision.
