Change - the one constant in life. I can still remember the day my older sister left for college. It was 2:30 in the morning, she woke me up to say goodbye and I responded with a weak, “bye” and “I love you” because I was way too tired to think straight. However that morning on the way to school it dawned on me, my sister is gone. She left to go across the country and she was going to be two thousand miles away. Suddenly and silently, tears ran down my face. Now more than ever I realized how close our bond was and how dramatically my life was about to change. One would not think the effect of an older sister moving away from home would have a large emotional and physical impact, but when two sisters have a close bond the younger sister’s life will change dramatically when the older sister leaves for college. The first thing that a younger sister realizes is that the lead fashion consultant of the home is gone, leaving only the parents. This may not sound devastating unless the younger sister is a female.
