The Negative Effects of Marine Pollution

1020 Words3 Pages

We wonder why our marine animals are now more fastly dying off, but we do not take in considering our actions. This world is made up of 7 billion of people with more than half owning cars. We are slowly fading away our marine animals. We become unaware of the affects we create in our ocean. We don’t take in consideration that the great grandchildren, the great grandchildren’s children cannot see the beautiful creations we once saw when we were all children. The views at the beach where we’d look beyond measures down the ocean to the sunset and seeing the dolphins will not be guaranteed to these future children. We have to make an end to the marine pollution before it’s too late. Are we the cause of all the marine deaths and the 70% of polluted water that covers our earth?

Children look beyond the sea to their dreams, dreaming of seeing dolphins, whales diving into the waters living how a marine animal should. If humans do not stop the affect we cause to animals it may too late to save our wildlife. “Much water pollution starts out as air pollution and slowly creeps into our seas, and creates our marine pollution,” says the WWF – Marine Problems. We need to be the change we want to sea. Our marine wildlife is part of something greater than us. They are part of a food chain that is beyond measures. Millions of motor vehicles engines drops small amount of oil each minute onto roads. Which will make its way to our seas. If we do not take matters into our own hands it will be too late.

Oceans are heating up because of the climate change which is killing off many species because many marine life can only survive off a certain temperature. Waters are becoming more acidic because of the carbon monoxide cars bring out.

We need to realize it is not just our marine habitat we are affecting it will slowly come around and affect us in about ten years. It will start causing disease and unhealthy habits. We need to realize the marine habitat is in the same world as humans live so that said we are all going to be affected later in the long run. Let’s all work together an be the change we wish to see before it is too late.
