In other states the situation either remain constant or on the rise. Chhattisgarh is the worst Naxalites affected state in the country, followed by Jharkhand, Bihar, Orissa, Maharashtra and West Bengal.
Urban Penetration
The threat from Naxalites has been gradually growing up in the urban areas. Naxalites are believed to be in the process of establishing bases composed of sleeper cells and frontal organizations, in and around Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune. As per media sources the ninth Unity Congress of CPI (Maoists) held in February 2007 had resolved to take their struggle into urban areas. Similarly documents seized in Chhattisgarh revealed that Naxalites are expanding in urban areas by building frontal organizations...

In order to make sure you are not a victim, one should check their account on a regular basis to make sure there are no unfamiliar transactions. Usually when there are unusual purchases, the bank will inform the customer to make sure it’s not fraud. Many times a thief will make small transactions to run tests to see if the account operates. Small purchases may not alert the bank, which is the reason a person must always be on high alert. Any purchase which is unfamiliar must be reported immediately to the bank. The longer the fraud continues the more damage will be

Banking fraud covers a wide range of areas that include cheque, credit card and online banking fraud. All areas are susceptible to fraudsters; some more likely than others for example online fraud is more popular than phone banking fraud due to technology advancements in the last decade.
Tribes have been present since the beginning of time. They are often smart, innovative and self-sufficient, all without the use of modern technology. A prime example of this is the Yanomami tribe. They are one of the last completely isolated and non-urbanized tribes in the world. The Yanomami have managed to stay secluded from society for over a hundred years and now this is starting to change. Cities along the Brazilian- Venezuelan border are expanding and occupying Yanomami land. Along with the expansion of Brazil and Venezuela, gold miners are invading the tribes land and destroying their environment and their health. The tribe has no real way of protecting themselves; they do not use or have modern day weapons and the government is taking no action to help. The seclusion that the tribe has managed to maintain contributes to their interesting way of life, but outside sources are threatening their culture. Another reason why the Yanomami are under attack is because they live on valuable land that miners are taking great interest in. Although they are under attack may people do not feel empathetic towards their situation, this is because they have a bad reputation surrounding them. Due to mass industrialization, the Yanomami tribe of the Southern Amazon may lose out on their rich existence and culture.
There is a low rate of criminal convictions meaning there is a high crime rate. Daily concerns for civilians are armed robberies, kidnappings, car thefts, credit card fraud and many different forms of residential crime. Criminals target anyone looking adequately vulnerable and lucrative. They are usually armed with handguns or knives, despite Mexico’s strict gun control laws. Organized crime also produces significant amounts of violence throughout the country. Routine displays of violence by gangs in Mexico are beheadings, lynching, torture and forced disappearances have become common. Journalists, bloggers, lawyers and police officers have been killed for reporting and investigating such incidents. In addition, gangs often charge protection fees or add their own tax to products and services, threatening violence if people don’t pay. Some criminal groups demand that individuals or whole communities work for them and threaten local governments to take up corrupt
Farmers are the primary target of guerrillas because they live in urban places far from the cities; they also own big lands, livestock and crops. My dad was constantly blackmailed by this group and when he didn´t have money to pay they would steal from him. Working and living under those conditions was very hard and impossible to make ends meet. At the end he had to give up his land not only to pay his debts with guerrillas but also to safe his family.
Certainly, the most targeted institutions where fraudulent activities seem to be a promising “career” are the banks. The institutions for example in US lose approximately Sh.15.5 million on a daily basis in a multifaceted fraud, which has persistently threatened the growth of the banking sector. The shocking revelations by the independent analysts, as well as, the bank fraternity indicate that innovative fraudsters have now employed the uses of various advanced means to...
These people face violence as outsiders begin to overtake their homelands. They typically end up loosing their land to logging, mining and other large scale industries. Depending on the location of the tribe they could be shot at especially in parts of Brazil and Peru. However, diseases that aren't deadly to more advanced civilizations could kill more indigenous people than any bullet ever could. Normally at least half the tribe will survive the first stage of contact with outsiders. The next aggression against the tribes is to take as much of their land as possible. Thus resulting in poverty which correlates with malnutrition, and other illnesses such as tuberculosis. The third and final stage is where the most suffering takes place, and the citizens have become extremely poor by this stage.
In late 1947, the newly created states of India and Pakistan went to war over the valley of Kashmir. A United Nations brokered ceasefire divided the state into Indian and Pakistani controlled territories, and resolved that a referendum would be held in which the people of Kashmir would be able to choose to join either country. The referendum has not been held to this day. India granted its portion of Kashmir a special status within its constitution, allowing for a great degree of self-autonomy. However, successive Kashmiri governments have been dissolved by the government of India, and elections have only been held in the presence of its armed forces. In 1965, Pakistan and India waged a second indecisive war over Kashmir. In the 1980s, resistance within Kashmir itself against the Indian government took on a violent nature, with guerilla attacks against Indian army bases. India responded with heavy army clampdowns, and since then the situation has only escalated and get worse. It is estimated that well over 34,000 people have died within the valley, and the relations between the two countries have become increasingly acrimonious. India blames Pakistan for the militant uprising, claiming Islamabad is supporting cross border terrorism. Pakistan responds that it merely provides diplomatic and moral support arguing, furthermore, that India’s history of human rights abuses in the valley is to blame. With both countries now in possession of nuclear arms; the recent war in KARGIL and the increasing number of civilian deaths, refugees, and other human rights issues within Kashmir, the conflict seems to be taking on a more serious nature. In this paper I will discuss the Kashmir conflict in some depth, examining the problem in...
The history of tribal oppression in India is an old one. “The Sanyasi Revolt”, “The Wahabi Movement”, and “The Naxalbari Rebellion”, are evidence of the tribal outcry that appropriately foregrounds their requirement for fundamental rights as citizens of the country. Even after sixty six years of independence, India’s rural poor and tribals are lamenting under the curbing effects of destitution, unemployment, undernourishment, illiteracy and human trafficking. For these people, the notions of liberty, equality and democracy have no meaning at all. Though the country is free from the bondage of foreign rule, their repression and prejudices still continue leaving them dependent on their new masters.
As time progresses and the introduction of Nausicaa 's kingdom, known as the Valley of the Wind, happens the viewer is able to see that her kingdom is a peaceful one. They work the land for their food and are protected by the wind which keeps the worst of the poisons from the Earth away. And even as the poisons cause diseases for the old the people of the Valley of the Wind understand that this is the way it is meant to be, they know that there is no fighting the toxic jungle because when they do the jungle only spreads and kills more people. They understand that in order to live in this world they have to be in harmony with Earth and fire; land and destruction. Then comes the Tolmekians and they walk the path of destruction. They are one of the largest kingdoms in this world and they are very militaristic. They will fight for what they want and what they really want is to burn down the toxic jungle so that it and all the creatures in it will never harm another human again. They believe that war, violence, and power can solve all their issues which makes them just like the humans that had fallen before them and destroyed the
