In this world, there are so many mysteries, secrets, and phenomenon that have not been explained. For the last few decades, crop circles have been appearing all around the world, yet we do not have a clear scientific explanation for them. Crop circles are defined as some kind of circular geometric patterns on crops such as wheat, barley, and corn, (Meder 2007). They are made within a very short period of time without any mistakes. There are over 12,000 circles found with complicated patterns and large in scale, (Crystalinks 2009) Many of the crop circles were found to be a manmade, but we cannot conclude that rests of them are hoaxed by man. People are still debating on this mystery circle, yet there are no answers. This paper will explain the history of crop circles, creators of crop circles, and designs of crop circles.
History of Crop Circle
The history of crop circles is very mysterious because no one can tell when it began to appear on earth. Crystalinks (2009) states that the first recorded evidence of a crop circle was found in 1647, which is a woodcut artifact called the Mowing-Devil. The image depicts a devil mowing a crop field and leaving circular marks behind its path. However, actual images of crop circles are available from the late 1800s. As time has passed since the first found crop circle, more images were available each year. It was probably due to increased attention from people with the help of an advanced technology. Even though the first crop circle was found in United Kingdom in early 1900s, they were generally found everywhere after then. However, more images from the United States, England, Australia and other countries are available, (Monstrous 2009). A few crop circles have been found each ye...

... highly equipped technology that humans do not have yet, while others insist these are just one of many hoaxes. Believing these are made by aliens will impact greatly on current society because the biggest religion in the world will be proved wrong. Some even say it is impossible for aliens to exist, but we must leave both options open, since we can never predict the future. Even a few hundred years ago, humans thought the earth was flat. Then we found out the earth is not the center of the universe. Recently, we can now travel to other stars and only collect samples. Because we know not even 1% about the universe, I think anything can be possible. Just a week ago, a news released that Vaticans are holding a conference for possible alien beings(fox). Maybe, we humans are just getting adopted to accept other intelligent beings as planned by unknown sources.
Extraterrestrial life has been a major topic for quite some time now, but has really escalated in the past two centuries. The movie we watched in class was called Extraordinary: The Stan Romanek Story. This movie so closely resembles the recent spike in activity that it seems to be the perfect example. This particular case had close to 200 different cases of videos, pictures, phone calls, health reports, and other forms of documentation. In my personal opinion, I believe that these cases were part of a hoax. Don’t get me wrong, I guarantee that there is life out there in the universe besides just us, but in this case, I do not believe Stan Romanek’s pleadings in the film.
Similar to the concept of a continuous flow or cycle of energy, circles are symbolic in Native American cultures at large. In Native American cultures that live in teepees, such as the Lakota people, the round bottom indicates a person is in touch with the world and at peace with himself (slideshare.net). In Cherokee culture rituals, magic work, and ceremonies are conducted within these sacred circles with fire placed in the middle. The fire in the center is known as the Universal Circle and serves as a reminder to seek harmony and balance. It is considered to be the path to the Great One (a supreme energy being) and the beginning for all living things. In the Cherokee’s eyes, the universe operates in a circular fashion where the period of time from birth to death is a cycle, as it ...
The unexplained have been adored and admired for decades appearing fascinating. Yet there still will always be someone to disapprove of them or try and cover them up, but not all secrets can be kept hidden. Whether the aliens will come to us or we will come to them in the end; believing we are not the only ones stuck in the variety of stars and planets in outer

“Circles” begins by starting small and describing the circles of the eye, then gradually moves to the circles in the universe, explaining that the circles in the universe are never ending. For example, Emerson himself explains “around every circle another can be drawn” (Emerson 123). This is the understanding portion. However, there is one caveat. Emerson explains that the circles eventually go on to reach God, who is both the circumference and the center of the circle. If God serves as both the circumference and the center of the great chain of circles, it means there is no clearly defined beginning or end. Nevertheless, like many things in nature, the presence of God as a figure of the circumference of circles symbolizes his elusively. If one circle can be drawn after the other, and God is the circumference of the circle, it symbolizes the beauty and elusively of nature. This is the reason port...
... be made in opposition, you're probably thinking, “They are prototype Military Aircraft” or “They were nothing but hoaxes”. While I am sure that many of them are secret craft and Hoaxes. I must ask you do you really believe that our Military would field a strange hieroglyphic Acorn flying through the sky only for it to strangely crash? Or a group of Teenage pranksters somehow built a catapult that launched a huge metal Acorn across 6 different states? With this in mind surely it is not hard to believe that: Aliens, Do, Exist.
One of the most important motifs in the episode is the shape, circle. Through out the episode we see it in various occasions, from cut scenes to furniture; the shape circle is especially prominent from any other geometric shape. The shape is first prominent in a close up shot of the sun during the funeral which then changes to a plongee shot of pies where Ned’s bakery is introduced. After the plongee shot of the pies, the scene changes to a close up of Ned and immediately to a long shot of his bakery from the inside to the outside. In that single shot we see circular windows, chairs, lights, tables, even the bakery itself is the circular shape of a pie. In a few of the scenes especially with Chuck and Ned, the scene cuts to black in the shape
There are numerous of different movies, books, and TV shows on how humans think aliens interact, look similar to, and what the media portrays aliens to be like. Occasionally, most will stumble across news articles with a variety of related headings about aliens, UFO’s, or recent known abduction stories. Every person has their own theories and or thoughts on these basic questions: do aliens exist? Could the government be covering up real life “space ships” or encounters? Countless folks have claimed to witness or have fanciful stories that have fascinated countless while several others are turned away. There are Videos, pictures and pieces of physical evidence to support nearly all of these stories. Even more alarming,
I believe that this situation can be paralleled by many earlier human scientific discovery. Discovering something never before known, and altering the natural world around us is the entire point of science. This can be seen in almost the same light as the battle between geocentric and heliocentric. One group believing that they are unique in the universe and that all other matter in the galaxy literally revolves around them. This point of view will be destroyed, as it was over five hundred years ago by Copernicus, and much like then there will be backlash. Perhaps not coming from the catholic church, but if and when contact is made with extraterrestrial intelligence, I would not be shocked if there is some cognitive dissonance and attempts
The thought of government cover-ups have been long discussed. The government has always, in the past, tried to keep any sign of aliens, whether it be pictures from space, to crashes on earth, to a low or nonexistent level. Just recently has the government been harassed to the point where they actually gave us clues to alien existence. It has in some ways been believed that the government has worked in partnership with popular movie directors, to produce alien movies to ease the thought that we may not be alone. Such movies as ôThe Arrivalö and the ever popular ôIndependence Dayö are very good examples of well convincing alien movies. If this is true, they did a good job, because statistics state that 75% of people today believe that there is some kind of intelligent life forms besides ourselves in the universe. That is very convincing compared to the 20% whom believed 25 years ago. ô New opinions are always suspected, and usually opposed, without any other reason but because they are not already common.ö (MacGowan 261)
There is a popular belief that aliens walked the Earth in ancient times, and these theories have created quite a stir in the scientific community. Ancient alien theorists, like Erich von Daniken and Zecharia Sitchin, believe that extraterrestrials came to earth thousands of years ago. Some hypothesize that ancient aliens are responsible for ancient technological wonders, and that they helped to shape human civilization. Furthermore, the belief that ancient gods were in fact aliens, misinterpreted as gods by the ancient people. As it turns out, there is quite a bit of evidence to support some of these ancient alien theories. However, it is all subject to interpretation, as it has not been validated. Evidence used to support the ancient alien theory can be found all over the world in ancient geoglyphs, art, sculptures, architecture and text. A mesmerizing topic that has captivated millions of people, Ancient Aliens brings to life the possibility that we are not alone in the cosmos and gives us a new perspective on life existing beyond our planet by looking within our very own past history and civilizations.

The findings in this book could easily be compared to real findings, throughout history we have been looking at finding proof for existence of life out in the universe and we have found several meteorites throughout times. Though they are not as significant as the discovery in the book where they are found during presidential elections and with fossils on it, but today when people are looking in space and saying our future lies there; reading the book has made everything just more interesting and exciting. "If this discovery is confirmed, it will surely be one of the most stunning insights into our universe that science has ever uncovered. Its implications are as far-reaching and awe-inspiring as can be imagined. Even as it promises answer to some of our oldest questions, it poses still others even more fundamental"
The first people that started to depend on farming for food were in Israel and Jordan in about 80000 B.C.. Farming became popular because people no longer had to rely on just searching for food to get their food. In about 3000 B.C. Countries such as Egypt and Mesopotamia started to develop large scale irrigation systems and oxen drawn plows. In about 500 B.C. the Romans started to realize that the soil needed certain nutrients in order to bare plants. They also realized that if they left the soil for a year with no plants, these important nutrients would replenish. So they started to leave half of a field fallow (unplanted). They then discovered that they could use legumes, or pulses to restore these vital nutrients, such as nitrogen, to the soil and this started the process known as rotating crops. They would plant half the field one year with a legume...
Farming has been an occupation since 8,500 B.C. On that year in the Fertile Crescent farming first began when people grew plants instead of picking them in the wild. Then nearly 5,000 years later oxen, horses, pigs, and dogs were domesticated. During the middle ages, the nobles divide their land into three fields. The reasoning for this was to plant two and leave one to recover. This was the start of crop rotation which is a big part of farming today. Burning down forest and then moving to another area is a farming technique used by the Mayans called Slash and burn. Mayan farmers also were able to drain swampy areas to farm them buy building canals. In 1701 Jethro Tull invented the seed drill and a horse drawn how that tilled the land. In Denmark they would plant turnips in the previously unplanted field. The turnips help restore the nutrients in the ground thus crop rotation is born. In England people began moving there fields closer to each other for a more efficient way of planting. Later in the 18th century selective breeding was introduce which made bigger, stronger, and more milk producing livestock. In the mid 1800’s a steam plough was invented. By the 1950 tractors, milking machines, and combines were used by almost farmers. The latest f...
