My most memorable childhood event was when I was 15 years old. It was the Fourth of July. A big family vacation a barbeque, over night stay and out of town trip to six flags, and I had a blast the night before me, my mom, sisters and brother packed our bags to stay the night over my cousin house in Goodlettsville ,Tennessee. She had the biggest house ever I thought it was a mansion; six bedrooms two an half bath, a swimming pool, a game/movie room with a nice big kitchen. It was something that I was not use, knowing that we stayed in a three bedroom based on an income apartment on the East side of Nashville. Arriving to my cousin house i seen alot of my family members even the ones that was from out of town. We greeted eachother and we went on about our business. As my grandmother, mom, and aunts prepared the food for the barbeque. The other adult gathered around different tables playing cards, dominos, shooting dice, and watching movies or sports on TV. I remember me my siblings and cousins played outside from swimming, sports, danced and hide go seek anything that you could thi...
In 2009, my parents and I decided to travel to San Antonio, Texas for vacation. My parents and I have traveled there before, but we enjoyed it so much that we decided to go back. With many places to see and do; my parents thought that we should go to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. It was at this theme park, where something happened that I would never forget.
During my life, So far a lot of my greatest memories involve Boy-Scouts. One of the best moments, I remember is my very first Summer Camp. I had been involved in Boy-Scouts for around four months. I had been told about Camp Chawanakee from other Scouters and I was so excited to go.
In June 2000 my little sister Haddie was born. I can remember her nursery down to the tee where the crib, etc, It was a light blue room with A cow jumping over the moon. We had two people that live with us in that house Casey and Brandy I shared a bathroom with them. My friend Whitney lived down the street. When I was 2 1/2 my papa Milton died. I don't remember him, I really wish I did though, because I've only heard good things about him.
One of my most memorable moments was during elementary school. I attended L.A Morgon elementary school, at the end of every school year we had a little festive inside the
My favorite memory was when I went with my family to colorado two years ago. I liked drive to the town , in the town, and on the way back. We had some fun times on the trip. We went to a alien jerky place. We also stayed at a hotel. Also we went on a boat ride. We had dinner for my brother’s birthday. Next we played laser tag. Finally we stopped at the meteor crater.
When I was thirteen years old my family and I went on a vacation to Las Vegas NV. The parents went out to a concert that night so my siblings and me were home alone.
For my first nine years, we used to live in a apartment in San Luis, Arizona. An apartment that consisted of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and a living room. We were all piled with one and the other. My parents and my two little sister Elizabeth and Jouselyn slept in one room. My older two brothers Carlos and Emilio in another room. My sister Lesly and I slept together in another room. After school my siblings and I would spent most of our time outside. My brothers would roamed around with their bikes, play soccer with the kids next doors, and play videogames in their home. My sisters and I would played with any kid that was outside. We would played hide and seek, tag, collect white garden snails, climbed on trees, and anything else
All I can remember doing was the endless hours of watching PBS Kids from 8 to 5 when we were picked up. It was those special days when my grandparents had their friend’s grandchildren come over to play with us or when my grandparents would struggle to teach us their first language that I remember truly enjoying myself. I enjoyed learning new things, whether it was from my new friends or my grandparents. I enjoyed spending time with others and exchanging thoughts and ideas. Of course, I did not realize this at the time, for I was 5, but I did know that it made me happy which is all that counted to
A few years ago when I went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with my mom, dad and sister was the most memorable vacation I had gone on. We had went two summers ago when I was fifteen. I got to do somethings that I had never done, and things I may not get to do again. I got to go parasailing, went on a banana boat ride and went on the Sky Wheel. Parasailing was made my trip so great.
Last fall break I took a trip to San Diego with my mom, my dad, and my best friend Juliana. Her and I are two peas in a pod. I remember almost every detail from that trip. We rented this quaint blue house that had a stable door in the front. The top half of the door could open separately from the bottom, and it had a charming kitchen with a such a big fridge that when it opened you felt like the house was leaning with the door. The room Juliana and I stayed in was just as cute as the rest of the house It had a white closet that was in the wall, two twin beds with soft pink and blue blankets on them, an old white dresser, and a tiny window next to the dresser that had smudges of dirt on it. The house was a little run down but it was perfect the way it was. The memory of this trip will forever be kept in my mind, from playing volleyball with my feet on the cold sand and hearing the

Have you ever had something happen in your life it made you so happy you still remember? I do. I remember the day my mother made a surprise party for me. She knew that turning fifteen in a Latina's world meant so much. My mother couldn’t afford to do me a Quinceañera- the celebration of a girl's fifteenth birthday in parts of Latin America . It is celebrated differently from any other birthday, as it marks the change from adolescent to young womanhood.A Quinceañera is a celebration in which a girl turns fifteen which in the Spanish speaking countries it is a recognition of her journey from adolescent to young womanhood. It starts out with a religious ceremony. Afterwards comes the reception which is held at home or at a banquet hall. The celebration includes food, music, choreographed dances or waltz (performed by the quinceañera and her court). A court is made up of fourteen people ( seven young girls and seven young men) plus the quinceañera making it fifteen. She wears a ball gown. Normally the gown’s color is chosen to be white or pink but in last few years it has changed as more trends come out. Some dresses are now chosen to be blue, purple, yellow, orange, red, and even black. As I was growing up I started hearing about girls turning fifteen getting ready to plan their parties and inviting people to their quinces. They would say they would get a DJ or a Mexican/ Guatemalan group to come sing at their party.
As long as I can remember I have had an amazing childhood. I have always been blessed with love and surrounded by many people I can look up to. I grew up with amazing parents and siblings that gave me oppoutunites some people do not always get. Many things have happened in my life time to make me the person that I am today. Without my childhood friends, family, and teachers the person I am would not be here. The top five experiences I can recall from my childhood that really stood out were becoming a big sister, joining my first cheer team, meeting my dad 's damily for the first time, getting my first puppy, and being on a television program called Zoom.
My favorite place as a child was County Park Lake. When we had family picnics because we all got together and there was great food and kids playing and the adults playing horse-shoes and could tell there was love for one another. There was no other place like this when I was a child. Some of my fondest memories was at that picnic site we should all have memories likes those.
