Positivity Is Key Your mind is the most powerful thing about yourself. How you choose to think is the way you will be, your thoughts control everything. Personally, I believe one of the best mental strategies to have is positivity. It is something not everyone knows how to practice, or something some people try to practice but can’t always be. If you believe you can do something, you can. Your positivity will lead to your success in life. Furthermore, being positive about things will help brighten your mood. Instead of thinking of the bad things that may happen your thinking of the good. Your thinking of the better things that will come in the future.

I thought about the good things that have happened to me during this move so far and not the unfortunate things. I scratched those. Life is so much more than that one week of having to make new friends. Everyday I thought more positively and it didn’t take long before I stopped dreading waking up and going to school everyday, I actually started enjoying it. I figured out that if you thought so negatively and didn’t care about the good things in life then your going to become the way you think, people are going to portray you as a negative and depressing person and that is not how I wanted to be. Like I was saying your mind and thoughts are very powerful. Stop thinking about the things that just might go wrong and think about the things that have and will go right. This will boost your self esteem and will bring ease and comfort for yourself. Every day won’t seem so monotonous and being positive will decrease your stress level by a lot. It’s not easy changing the way you think and becoming something that you are not usually, but it’s never too late to try and even I am still trying to get
