Catch Me If You Can is an extremely compelling film, filled with humor, suspense, and numerous twists and turns that will keep one's eyes fixed at the screen from the beginning to the end, and one that I had really enjoyed as well. The producers of the film had more than successfully portrayed the true life story in a way that manages to captivate audience as well as express the shrewdness of the actual Frank Abegnale in real life. From this movie, one can learn that sometimes mischievous and impetuous of one's teenage life, as well as necessity, hard work, and determination can lead to true passion, the key to success in the real world.
Do not be mistaken, but this story is not one that urges to express moral, business and ethical virtues that one needs to possess in a business-like film. It is a story of a desperate man who lied and impersonates himself to get money and jobs for a living. As a not-so-typical teenager, Abegnale was an observant guy who takes notes of his surroundings and use them to his own advantage. The examples when he gained an upper hand from this particular characters are countless, including a payback on a bully by pretending to be a substitute teacher or evading an FBI capture by faking as a Secret Agent. But of those, the most important was the act of forging checks, which would be the turn point in his life and the center of the actions that would later take part in this film.
It is his very lying, ever snake-like nature and the way that the other people so willingly accept his lies for truth that people would enjoy most from. It cannot be denied that we all laugh at the look on his face when he walked out from his hotel with all of his 'evidence', leaving the officer stunned and cursing after him. Or...

To sum it up, this is no doubt one of the best films I have watched so far in its genre, and I would likely recommend it to those interested as well. With its hidden messages, truths, values, as well as entertainment, funny scripts and indisputable plots and effects, Catch Me If You can would keep your eyes glued to the screen from the minute the screen starts rolling to the very end. Of course, excess risqué scenes, and plot flaws are present here and there, but it is no doubt a film very unchallengeable in terms of quality. It is truly a wonderful, entertaining masterpiece one would look for, and an amazing, compact recollection of a man who has become a legend within a decent amount of time. I had really enjoyed it.

I have looked into many topics and have decided to conduct my research on Frank William Abagnale Jr. He is a famous imposter known for his success in check fraud and many identities. On Biography.com it states that Frank Abagnale was born April 27, 1948 in Bronxville, New York and was the third of four children. His story is often known because of the movie “Catch Me If You Can”, which is based off his criminal career. Frank started off his credit card schemes as a teenager and was able to escape police custody twice by the age of 21. With the help of superb editing, sound, mise en scene, and cinematography, this film cannot be topped. The fist scene of the movie creates an atmosphere that helps the viewer know that he/she will enjoy this wonderful classic. Throughout the movie there are surprises and fun that makes this a movie that people will want to watch again and again. Gene Kelly said it best when he said, "Dignity, always dignity. " That is what this movie has from beginning to end, dignity.
The Criminal Justice System is made up of several different process law enforcement, judiciary, and corrections this system is where the accused individual are tried and punished for the crime they are charged with. Shows that give a visual of the arresting and investigation process (law enforcement) are the televisions shows “Cops” and “The First 48 Hours”. The show “Cops” is a television series that follows police officers, constables and sheriff deputies around during their patrol and other policing activity (Cops, n.d). Showing the officer enforcing the laws of the land, apprehend offenders, reducing and prevent crimes, maintain public order, provide emergency and related community services and more” (Schmalleger F., 2014). Frank Abigale first impersonates a substitute teacher when he is discomforted by the rest of his new high school class. Disliking the scenario that he is in, Abigale changes his role as a student and puts on a new mask of a substitute teacher to impersonate the authority of the class. His ability imitate others only gets better. After running away from his parent’s house he knows that his best chance of survival is coherence. Desperate for money he begins forging checks. However when he goes and checks his fake check his performance does not reflect that of a seventeen year old high school student. He adapts quickly to the environment and in a fancy bank he goes to the extent of impersonating a pilot. Frank finds himself getting free flights and respect he so greatly desires. When he figures out that an FBI agent is after his trail of scandals he decides to forge a degree and all the documents he needs to become an ER supervisor and is quickly hired. The movie ‘Catch Me If You Can’ is based on the true-life story of Frank Abagnale. He was the youngest person to ever be put onto the FBI’s most wanted list. The movie tells his story. Frank Abagnale impersonated many people and forged many documents (many to include paychecks) over the period of 5 years. He was said to be the world’s greatest liar. Some of the documents that he forged included, but were not limited to, false identification cards, birth certificates, and of course paychecks. He got into the forgery business by learning from his ‘conman’ father. Frank traveled around the world impersonating doctors, airline pilots, and even the assistant attorney general. The FBI was always on his trail, but seemed to be one step behind him. The final showdown, or rather when he was caught, was when the FBI found him in his warehouse mass-producing paychecks. The lead detective was so vastly impressed with his skills at forgery that he was able to work out a deal with Frank and got him out of prison after only five years. This was done on the stipulation that Frank would come to work for the FBI to aid in the measures to identify forged documents. Many of these practices helped with the security measures still in place today. This was the end to the movie, thus telling a great tale of one man’s life, and the FBI’s weakness for forgery at that time.
