It was around midnight in a pitch black, hollow, dreaded school with no way to get out. I was gallantly careering around the classrooms in the year of 2112, for my parents hated me. My father gave a punishment, and it was to clean the house. I repudiated to do it because it was filthy, and it was covered in complete garbage. As a result of that, my mother dropped me off 3 hours before in this dull school. I can’t slumber like an angel, for I’m terrified of ghosts and goblins swarming around this area. I gently sauntered to a classroom, and I saw something eerie glowing in the dark. I opened the door silently, and I just knew what it was when it hit my eyesight. “Hey! Boy! What are you doing around here in midnight?” Someone said.
“My parents are abusive of me, and they dropped me off here!” I alleged. “Well, then go to sleep! There’s no excuse in the whole entire world that you can’t sleep! Good night!” President Barack Obama retorted. “Wait. Are there any goblins or ghosts here? I’m scared of them, for they made me scream like a little girl. Weren't you dead in 2082?” I inquired. “Yes, I was, for I am very old. I had the ability to become a ghost, for God appreciated what I did for the United States.” He responded. “Hey, I thought you were dead already! Oh well, I guess you weren't dead because you are here talking to an innocent young man.” President John James, the current president of the United States reverberated. “Can we please quit this baloney and talk about this magic wand?” I interrogated. “This wand was made in the ancient times. It was a very useful source of armament that didn't require much construction. It only takes a stick and some orange juice mixed with water to make it, for the beverages contained the magic....

...gh, I decided that it would go through the heart. When I found one, I came roaring at 1 thousand miles an hour, and I got the fork in his heart. “Ow! I’m going to die, for this stupid fork wounded me too severely!” He said. In about 3 seconds, his tongue was out, and he wasn't breathing. As a result of him not breathing, he died.
As I tried to find an opening, the snake was too big to move, so I squeezed through a hole that the snake left behind. The door was all cracked, for the snake weighed over a ton. I had to walk about a mile in the dreaded dark sky. I was running fast as lightning in order to get home. It was about 3 am when I got home, and I had dinner. It was spaghetti with meatballs, and I had juice. I went to bed and slept happily ever after. When I woke up, I heard that my parents were getting a divorced. I will never forget the dreaded night at school.

Realm of Wonders Union Essay examples - ... Daunting, with no human life to be seen and the air was as still as death?” Mrs. Foster asked casually. They both bolted up straight. “Yes!” they replied in unison. “Believe it or not, that was to protect you.” “Protect us?” Simon repeated. “Yes, when minors go through portals unsupervised, warning bells go and the portals are sent into overdrive and they create an empty kingdom. We did try to make them a bit brighter and colourful to make you youngie’s feel at ease. However, we decided that if we made them feel evil and spooky, then you may never enter portals on your own again.” “Well, it worked, I’ll never do it again,” Simon said agreeing....   [tags: school, wand, magic, portal] 1851 words

Essay on The Magician Behind the Magic - Do you remember how David Copperfield makes the Statue of Liberty disappeared. Do you remember how he penetrated the Great Wall of China. And do you remember how a famous street magician David Blaine stayed in an ice tank without eating and drinking for seven days in the street of London. These famous magicians are great. However, we all know that magic is false, why the magicians are so successful. People might think that is because they are so fraudulent when they do a trick, they have a pair of extremely nimble and sensitive hand that even faster than our eyes....   [tags: magic, ] 902 words

Essay on Not a Magic Solution to School Problems - Not a Magic Solution to School Problems School uniform policies are often referred to as a Band-Aid solution. They help hide more serious problems at the school by giving the school a nice look. Surveys of students and teachers show that in general people believe a well-dressed person is more intelligent and better behaved. Politicians like the look of school uniforms; many of them support this cause until the schools ask for more money. Uniforms are often implemented in schools that are overcrowded and have lower test scores....   [tags: School Uniforms Education Essays]

Essay about The Magic in Me - “All the world is made of faith, trust and pixie dust” (J.M Barrie Peter Pan). For the first four years of my life, I was a fairy. Fluttering around with my wings and my magic wand, causing havoc everywhere I went. I was unstoppable and certainly a force to be reckoned with. Life was as simple as it gets. Maybe it was the magic only a little girl has. I watched the world with sparkling eyes, arms wide open. The world was a beautiful place and we get so little time so live life to the fullest. Of course life wasn’t all sparkles and rainbows, but its getting through the good times and the bad that counts....   [tags: personal reflections] 529 words

The Magic Within Essay - Magic tricks have fascinated people of all ages for centuries. From David Copperfield to Chris Angel, many performers use magic to amaze and astound. One of the least elaborate types of magic tricks is the card trick. There are two main types of card tricks: there are mathematical card tricks and sleight of hand card tricks. The former are simple to learn, but do not impress audiences. To really attract attention, an aspiring magician should learn sleight of hand card tricks. Sleight of hand card tricks are tricks that use misdirection and special manipulations of a deck of cards to do something seemingly impossible....   [tags: How-To Essay, Magic Tricks] 1398 words

Essay about The Magic Chalk, by Abe Kobo - Magic, as defined by Merriam-Webster, is a power that allows people to do impossible things by saying special words and performing special actions. When looking at the context of this definition, one can then define the term magical realism. Magical Realism is defined as a literary genre in which the author creates two conflicting positions, one rooted in logic and the other rooted in mysticism. In Kobo Abe’s short story, The Magic Chalk, Abe effectively creates a binary between the creator and the creation through the narrative style of magical realism and through the narrative techniques of characterization, irony, and symbolism where the protagonist alters the world to become his own crea...   [tags: Kobo Abe, The Magic Chalk]

Essay on The Locked Door - There was a door that I had never gone in. It stood out in the middle of a forest, a strange place for a door. It stood straight up and seemed to have no supports, it seemed magic almost that it could be there. When I first saw it there was a child going in. A little girl I think, not very old. Perhaps about 6 years old. I ran along and when I got there the door was shut. There was no lock on the door; therefore, I took it that it would have to be open. Grabbing the knob I twisted it and pulled....   [tags: Creative Writing] 348 words

The Man Who Is Endowed with Magic Essays - “You won’t find anyone who can really explain the magic of Walt,” said Peter Ellenshaw—a Disney artist. “People see him either in black or white, but he was an extraordinary mixture. He was a common man who was endowed with a touch of magic” (Greene 6). This magic led Walt on one of the most extraordinary adventures anyone could ever wish to live. Walt grew up traveling from place to place as his father, Elias, worked day and night to make sure his family was fed and comfortable. Locked Out Essay examples - Locked Out Death is a small price to pay for respect--the words spilled from the headphones like crude oil. Erway Dewey listened to the music barely hearing the lyrics. The words were dark and damaging but soothed the roughness of the harsh surroundings. It didn't matter what the words said anyway, Erway thought, it ain't real life. Erway stood in the shadow that the old warehouse doorway cast against the rising sun. Magic Essay - Doing this research paper didn’t really help me find anything extraordinary about the word magic. I pretty much knew what the word magic meant, from the comic books I read and the television I watch. It did however, make me view the word in more depth. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not implying in any way that the word magic, is dull, because it is just the opposite. I’m simply stating that because of my fascination with the subject of magic, I am already familiar with its background and capabilities....   [tags: essays research papers] 1732 words
