The Life of Julius Caesar
Julius Caesar is and was one of the most influential people in history. He created laws, stuck wars, and developed new strategies for leadership and battles. "Caesar is widely considered to be one of the greatest military geniuses of all time, as well as a brilliant politician and one of the ancient world's strongest leaders (Julius Caesar pg.1)." He transformed the Roman Republic into the Roman Empire and he extended his land all the way through Gaul to The Atlantic Ocean, as well as fighting a civil war and being proclaimed as dictator for life.
Julius Caesar was born in Rome to a patrician family. Supposedly he was born by a Caesarean Section were he got his namesake, although modern historian think this is highly unlikely. Caesar was not born to a rich family, although a noble, as many people would have thought. His father was named Gaius Julius Caesar and his mother Aurelia Cotta, he also had a elder sister named Julia. Though this did change over time as his aunt married Gauis Marius who later became the richest man in Rome.
Marius started a civil war as a radical reformist against Lucius Sulla. During this war both Marius and Julius's dad died of illness leaving Julius much money and property in their various wills. During this time Julius also married Cornelia daughter of Lucius Cornelius Cinna who was Marius's greatest supporter and also Sulla's enemy. As the war ended in 85 B.C. it left Caesar in an extremely bad position as the enemy of the new dictator. Because of this he fled with his family out of the grasp of Sulla. The plan worked perfectly with a accused 60 men involved. His last words are not really known but many believe them to be "Tu quoque, Brute, fili mi" ("You also, brutus, my son?"). After the death of Caesar, Rome entered a dark age where in which Mark Antony and Octavian, Caesar allies, sparked a civil war against the senators.
Ultimately Julius Caesar was one of the greatest leaders ever, he practically shaped the world he lived in with his great judgement. He was even beloved so much by his people that they named him a Roman god two years after his death. In the future, modern leaders should refer to his principles when a tough decision faces them.

Julius Caesar was one of the most important political and military leaders in the history of Rome, with many major achievements. Caesar is known to have never lost a single war. His most honorable conquests include the capture of Gaul that extended the Rome boundaries to the Atlantic Ocean; and the Roman invasion of Britain. Julius was also a historian and an incredible orator. He authored many comprehensive journals, named Commentaries that provided the details of his military campaign. Caesar is also said to have produced Acta Diurna, which is the first newspaper that let the public know about the actions of the Assembly and the Senate. He was a successful statesman and changed several laws for the wellbeing if the public. He was the one who fixed the calendar because the days weren’t in pace with the seasons and suggested the science behind it. One of the grandest dominions in all of the world was once ruled by a man whose name is Julius Caesar. His decisions impacted the structure of government throughout Rome’s lifespan. Caesar shaped the Republic of Rome on his own, and would conquer much of Europe in his time. Caesar’s life was influenced mainly by war and hate, which would also lead to the end of his own life. Julius Caesar would enter history as one of the most impinging rulers in all of Europe and the world.
Caesar proved he was the most successful. This was due to careful planning and implementation. It seemed everything he put his mind to accomplish he did so with ease. This was truly a great leader and certainly changed lives both for the better and worst, depending on which side, you were either winners or losers. Of course, all the bribing he did along the way definitely greased the skids. This made him some real serious enemies along the way. Caesar always had an eye out for promising recruits and never failed to single those men out and reward them. This earned him many friends along the path to the temporary dictator. There should be no doubt on Caesar’s importance in the history of the empire as he was that guy who never wanted to rest on his achievements, but someone who always had a plan on just how to get things done. He was never defeated as a general. Caesar rarely failed at any task he chose to undertake. He just somehow knew how to get things done and he never really stopped thinking about how to improve the city and it roads. Caesar was the best as dictators go but were never afraid to be brutal and ruthless if the times called for it. He was never one to show mercy unless it was unavoidable. Love him or hate him, he was one of the best leaders of all time. Politicians today can still learn a thing or two from Caesar. Many people today in the 21st century try and follow the greatness of Julius Caesar. The assassination of Julius Caesar was a tragedy with the contributions Caesar made to strengthen Rome’s success.
Julius Caesar was born either on July 12th or July 13th of July 100 BC in Rome, Italy. Nobody knows for sure which day. He was born into the Julian clan. His full name is Gaius Julius Caesar. Although Caesar's family was closely associated with the Marian faction in Roman politics, his family would be considered middle class of today’s standards. Caesar married Cornelia around the age of 18. Cornelia was the only woman in Caesar's life to give birth to a legitimate child. While married to Cornelia, the dictator Sulla ordered Caesar to divorce Cornelia, Caesar refused, so Sulla put Caesar on the list of people to be executed. For this Caesar went into hiding.
