As I sit here, I wonder what I will become; all I see is pure success like no one has ever seen. My life is full of great and achievable goals that can fulfil my life with happiness.
I see myself see myself thirty years from now becoming the most successful person the world has seen. I will have graduated high school and college with 4.0 GPA, majoring in aeronautical engineering while being in the national honors society. I will have made my college possible because of baseball. In doing all of these awesome achievements, I’ll be the best baseball player that has ever played being drafted number one by the Yankees in my freshman year of college. I will have starred at shortstop under Coach Joe Torre. Driving in a record 80 home runs shattering Mark Mcgwires’ record. Later, I will set the record for most golden gloves ever achieved by a major league baseball player. During my career in baseball I will meet a beautiful woman that just became a professional model signing with Nautica. After being married for a few years we will have two kids; while, concluding my career in New York and moving to California.
Later I will pursue my career in politics. First running for U.S. senate and representing the Democratic party. After seeing that my life would be fulfilled much better if I could change the world in a more drastic way I will run for president. After all of the harsh campaigning I will when the race and proudly represent our country. When I am educated into the office I will begin with my inauguration address and captivating the country I will leave to get to my new home “The White House.” I will become the most effective president the county has ever seen. Starting with my most important policy “Education.” I plan to stress helping out the middle class family with taxes, health insurance, and Medicare. In doing this I plan on looking out for the senior citizens with good retirement funds. I will also encourage peace with the world and strengthening our military. Once I have completed my first term as president I will be elected once again and have an even stronger effect on our country. After resigning and touching the country with my great and inspiring State of the Union address I will pursue my career in aeronautical engineering.
I will establish my career working on the corrections side of Criminal Justice. Specifically working as a probation officer focusing on juveniles. I have long thought that I could make a difference in young people’s lives if I were able to get to them soon enough. By the time adults enter our correctional system the dye has been cast and it is much more difficult to get them back on the right path. It seems to me that keeping them on the right path to start with is a better approach. So, in five years that is exactly what I will be trying to do.
It’s the triumphs as well as the defeats, that I will remember most about my life when I look back in thirty years. If I can look back and say, “I didn’t think I could ever accomplish this, but I gave it my all.” Pursuing the next challenge along with being a well-rounded, compassionate person will allow me to consider my life a success in thirty years. Nothing in my life emulates this attitude towards what I will consider a success, in terms of pushing my limits, in thirty years, than my current pursuit of collegiate level sports.
“Today you have the opportunity to transcend from a disempowered mindset of existence to an empowered reality of purpose-driving living. Today is a new day that has been handed to you for shaping. You have the tools, now get out there and create a masterpiece.”’-Steve Maraboli.
When I grow up I want to be an MLB player. A person I look up to is Felix Hernandez. I look up to him because he is a good baseball player. This is why I want to be a baseball player.
I aspire to become a leader in my family and community inspiring those around me to maximize life to its fullest potential. To use my God given gifts and talents to apply the principles necessary, to make a significant difference in the lives of others. To live a balanced life challenging myself intellectually as well as allowing time for my mind to rest and do things I enjoy. To look at life through a child’s eyes, not being distressed about the past or worrying about the future. All the while dancing like nobody’s watching.
It's hard for me to say where I'll be in the years to come, already my life has strayed from the path I once thought it would follow. However, that doesn't change my motivation or determination to reach and excel at my personal goals. My whole life I've endured a system that dictated what should be important to me, and while it's helped me learn the practical skills I need outside of an academic setting, I have a passion to grow further from what's expected of me, and so with much enthusiasm I look forward to attending college in which I hope to achieve more by constantly learning and expanding my personal knowledge.
“Progress looks like a bunch of failures and you 're going to have feelings about that because it’s sad but you can’t fall apart. And then one day , you will succeed.” (Grey’s Anatomy) It is the law of life that significant events will occur throughout a human’s existence on Earth. We exist, survive, and thrive because we are able to change. With that in mind, I am grateful for all the opportunities that have and continue to be given to me despite my past failures, lack of inspiration and confidence.
I will be the one who will help care for my family and pay back the time and sacrifices my family gave to me, especially my mother, who works two full time jobs to assist our needs. I want to be the role model for my family. In the future, I want to take care of people. Even if I am terribly bad at math, I am quite fascinated in Science especially Biology. Like doctors, nurses or dentists, I want to take care of people the way I want to take care of my family. I appreciate my parents and my sisters because they taught me to understand the value of family, education and life. I want to change the point of view of people who are new to this country. I want them to realize that financial problems and culture shock are not barriers and not to give
What I had wanted as a child, what I thought would have gotten, is all outside my grasp. That house I wanted? Maybe a bit smaller…and about that car, I’ll take a Honda Civic. I am now forced into the dilemma of choosing which dreams to fulfill. Even then none of them might come to be. I still seek to attain my goals however, but with all due diligence will I attain half-success. What I found didn’t fit with what I sought to be. What I was promised and what I believed will not come to be. I was once jubilant over the inevitability of adulthood, but now, all I seek is the impossibility of another
With a college degree in the field of political science, and a career in law and politics, I would encourage youth to be active in the political arena. I would offer intern positions in my law firm to help provide youth with first hand experience to further understand our legal and justice system. I would also volunteer my time in becoming a speech and debate coach for a local high school, because it is very important to have corporate and professional involvement with schools. In a hopeful career as a state legislator, or perhaps a congresswoman, I would support legislation that would promote better conditions for our schools and teachers.
As a senior in high school many students ponder the big question of life that seems to be asked by many. No that question is not where do you want to go to college, what are you doing after high school, that question would be where do you see yourself in ten years. As I reflect on my childhood I have many dreams and aspirations that I would like to accomplish within the next ten years of my life. In ten years I can see myself having many of my goal accomplished, if not accomplished, I will be working on accomplishing those goals to fulfill my life.
...objectives. I have finally come to know what my goals are and the way in which my career will be sculpted. It is more of self-evaluation and self organization than for others.
My personal vision of the future is not something I have taken a significant amount of time to ponder in the past. I have general ideas of where I see myself both personally and professionally in future but have not identified specific steps to get there or pondered why I want to be in that situation. When taking on this somewhat daunting task of identifying my future self it is important to identify my driving values, philosophy, dreams, and my personal calling. Self-reflection on these characteristics and preferences are key to a developing a successful picture of the future.
Upon graduating from Concord College, I will attend graduate school and receive my Master’s degree in Education. I will be teaching at different places around the country, as I will be moving frequently. My future occupational plans include working with the Department of Defense school systems. I will use my educational background and my life experiences to enlighten and teach my students.
One's dream and aspirations to supersede in life must be stronger and greater than limitations set forth by others. The experience that were bestowed to me during my short life has elevated me to the woman I am today. Please walk with me as I give you the opportunity to see the world from my eyes:
