Leadership or Manager: Analysis of Strategies Used by Adolf Hitler

Adolf Hitler

Adolf Hitler was the leader of NSDAP. NSDAP is also known as the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei. NSDAP is created after the German worker party with was made of german nationalists. NSDAP is a group composed of German nationalists and racist culture. Hitler made a book about this culture while in jail which is the one race culture. Today we would call the NSDAP “Nazi”. Hitler basically came in power because of his party. During the first financial crisis in the United States he made his party well known. This financial crisis was the “Great Depression”. Hitler took advantage of the crisis and develop his political power. Hitler became in power and used his great leadership skills and made Nazi become the most fearsome throughout germany.

Hitler has great leadership skills. He meets the three elements of having leadership skills. He matches the group phenomenon by having lots of follower. Many of his followers has read his book and believes in his goal. This leads to the second element which is goal directed and action directed. They would do whatever they can to achieve the master race goal. In order to do so his party was based on expansionism and Antisemitism. The third element would be hierarchy within a group mentioned lastly in the textbook. He demonstrate this the best because he always have meetings and he use his own special way due to his lack of trust. Every orders he gives were given in person and in no other forms. Hitler also expects absolute obedience.

Hitler might have leadership skills but the next question arises, would you consider it effective leadership. Through out history many people would consider famous people in history or winners as having effective leadership. The l...

...ssed away so he became the supreme commander. Hitler had even more power and soon worried about his mens might be getting too much power. Because of Hitler’s distrust, he used many dirty ways to strip his own men from control. In one year Hitler has successfully replaced all his generals with new ones. Basically he used them to fix the economy and kick them away when it’s better. He might be a bad person in general but his strategy works. He greatly reduce unemployment and brought Germany to the greatest peak. Hitler went into World War II and went overboard. He did a mass massacre known as the “Holocaust.” He basically killed 6 million Jews over territories that he conquered. His action created hatred among Jews and the notice of his crucial action. We can say that he lead Germany to the greatest peak and drove it down to the worst after the lost of World War II.
