The “art and life” aspects of the interwar avant-garde are an advanced socially trivial form of art which to a bigger extent is symbolic of the visual setting of the human community. It is the art of expressionism in any artistic work which greatly influence its adaptation by the target audience. It has been evidently claimed that most artistic works of the early twentieth century have had a number of varied themes all encompassing the political environment of the time. The interwar avant-garde is a direct expression of the modernism in a society marked with low levels of civilization. It is indeed the expressive nature of artistic works that we claim high levels of civilization in our human society. This is the reason why art is quite crucial in the society as it evidently has both a social and moral function within the environment. They are a major recipe in the process of realizing cultural and/or character assimilation of our otherwise wishful set of modernism in the society. This essay gives a critical discussion on the “art and life” aspects of the interwar avant-garde and its impact on the human community.

The first third of the twentieth century was marked with many experimental artistic works which were typically made to impact on the people a visual modernity aspect of the human community. They were a great link of modernism and its ties to our traditions and the element of nationalism. The spirit wining at war is greatly represented in these artistic works always portraying the other opponent as the ultimate loser in the fight. ...ility. Challenging the existing human social setting is basically realized by expressing irresponsibility in the actor’s actions. By questioning the morality principles and societal norms, we always seek to find a new, probably better scheme of living and behavioral code for the human society. It is to be noted here that war related artistic works are literally involving the mind of the audience to experience the actual picture of the war. It is due to this that the action is eminently marked with much irresponsibility acts from the key actors.

In conclusion, it is clearly evident that most interwar avant-garde artworks were mainly a visual expression of modernism in the society. It is such artistic techniques which highly influenced the adaptability of these wonderfully developed artworks.
