Technology has exploded and it has landed everywhere! Daily computers help to accomplish job-related task more efficiently (Shelly, 2010). It has even affected the method in which lessons are being translated in the classroom. This writer will take a vivid look at ways in which technology can be used to facilitate and enhance instructions in the classroom. A glimpse will be taken upon the differences between wired and unwired classrooms. Lastly, the pros and cons of using technology will also be taken into consideration.

Technology integration is connecting hardware and software with subject-related are of the curriculum (Shelly, 2010). It can be intertwined through classroom experiences, activities and projects. It can be integrated also with digital media software programs. A simple, yet profound way is through email. Email is a vent to allow it to veer into the classroom. It can open the recesses to the parents and guardians as well as to the instructor. Technology is attractive and increases communication and participation in the classroom (Bustos, 2009). The use of the computer is an obvious and common way to integrate technology by utilizing the Web. There are various learning software tools that may be included. Creating a class website is another portal that can be used to collaborate and access course information such as assignments, lecture notes or other presentations to the class (http://www.glencoe.com/sec/teachingtoday/subject/tech_integration.phtml). Another venue that is sure to bring excitement is the chat room. This can possibly lead to global connections.
