INDIVIDUAL ETHICAL PERSPECTIVE In an attempt to obtain a clearer awareness of my own ethical perspectives, I completed the Ethics Awareness Inventory. This inventory presented me with several questions into what I valued most and least as moral values. In addition, the inventory presented two sample situations involving ethical considerations from a management per-spective in a work environment. Through taking this inventory, I was able to gain an insight into how my values and perceptions could shape my actions and the impact of those actions in future circum-stances. This insight will allow me the benefit of choosing which ethical perspective best suits the individual situations as they present themselves and provides me with opportuni-ties to ask more key questions to serve the situations in a manner that is more true to my own ethical standards. These new tools will allow me to interact with peers and higher leadership in a more effective manner when it comes to ethical considerations and stands. Even though this survey gave me great insight into my own core beliefs, it also gave me an understanding of how other people may approach circumstances. This will be very beneficial when it comes to influencing any organization or social group's policies so that everyone is served in the best possible way. This paper will document the results of my participation in the ethical awareness inquiry and clarify which of the four main perspectives apply best to my moral beliefs. Then, each of the four ethical perspectives will be explained in order to provide you, the reader, with an understanding of how these differing perspectives shape individual ethical decisions and potential ethical dilemmas. It seems as though it is just a better or worse an-swer to the ethical consideration. Summary To sum up, I believe as with anything in life, education, growth and development are the keys to making and ethical decision. People may take on several different per-spectives throughout their lives. Sometimes the perspective changes based on their reac-tions to differing circumstances or groups. Other times, these perspectives can change over time as people develop. It is also my belief that people who are rigid in their ethical decisions are not mak-ing a true ethical decision after all. Instead they are just passing judgments on others and typically being righteous or domineering. This in my opinion is not ethical behavior and does not provide what is needed by society for everyone to be empowered and satisfied.
Ethical decision-making is the responsibility of everyone, regardless of position or level within an organization. Interestingly, the importance of stressing employee awareness, improving decisions, and coming to an ethical resolution are the greatest benefits to most companies in today’s world (Weber, 2015).
People have opinions and ideas when it comes to ethical dilemmas. There are many examples: The debate on abortion, the trolley problem, and moral absolutism, to name just a few. In all of these examples it appears that emotion and feelings will, at some point, override an important ethical decision that needs to be made. An important factor of an ethical dilemma is how and when it might appear. Some dilemma's, like the debate on abortion, can appear in a way that there is time to talk through all options and available ethical concepts. In this type of dilemma it is possible to see how moral rules and ethical theories can be discussed and a decision made through compromise. In contrast, when a situation that poses dire ethical consequences calls for a moral action there must be a solution that is grounded in moral principle and that can be accessed quickly and efficiently producing the most desirable results. The principal that would seem the best candidate in these situations is consequentialism.

I would love to believe that the world is made up of individuals that have a high level of integrity and pure ethical fibers; however, this is not the world in which we live in. Ethical Professionals Ethics exist all around us and drive our everyday decisions. Professionals in any career perform based on their personal values and morals, as well as implementing the ethical duties required by the organization they work for. At times our personal ethics may not align with our professional ethical responsibilities, however, we do not have to bury our views and beliefs to respect those of others. Personal ethics play a crucial role in the life of everyone around us and it represents specific features and characteristics that have been formed through our family and society. Our personal ethics are influenced by cultural, beliefs, morals, and spiritual values. These decisions can have positive or negative impacts on society. In our daily lives, each and every person is responsible for making decisions that can influence those around us, such as people we work with, our family, and even those we go to school with. The focus of this paper is to identify my personal ethical values, indicate the primary influences, values that guided my decision, and the progress of my ethical goals.
Making good ethical decisions requires a trained sensitivity to ethical issues and a practiced method for exploring the ethical aspects of a decision and weighing the considerations that should impact our choice of a course of action. Having a method for ethical decision making is absolutely essential. When practiced regularly, the method becomes so familiar that we work through it automatically without consulting the specific steps.

When I think of ethics, I think of the angel on my left shoulder telling me to do the “right” thing, and the devil on my right, tempting me to join the dark side. This scenario deals with what is “right” or what is “wrong” and where my morals will lie in the end. But who is to say what is right and wrong? Ethics is such a trivial word because every person, company, and culture has a different idea of what is considered ethical or what is considered unethical.
