Education and technology have been integrated over the past years. There are many reasons for educators to introduce the technology in learning process, which is the new generation of students has been surrounded by various technologies. Prensky (2005) claims that young people are completely absorbed and mastered in digital technology such as computers, video games and the internet. Notably, information and communication technologies (ICTs) play important roles in educating young students. There are many technological methods, for example, blogs, instant messengers podcasts and vodcasts that allow learners to collaborate, negotiate, contribute and create knowledge (Asmus et al. 2005). It is undoubted that the ICTs have many advantages in which this paper will present some benefits of using the ICTs in education process for young people. In specific, the focus will be on the usage of data bases, and the encouragement of independent learning and collaborative learning.
Nowadays, the ICTs play an effective role in using databases easily and efficiently and this might develop learning in universities. During the past decade, the range of the information has been grown and some of them has been digitized and held in libraries' websites. Adelaide University library's databases on the library's website are great examples of the technological information. According to Adelaide University (2010) these databases include various electronic data that are approximately 25 million articles and journals in different subjects. This system of data allows the learners to research in limited periods of time in this great deal of information, and this is will save a lot of time and effort for researchers, which ma...

His many successes included the tax cuts of 1981, appointing the first woman to the United States Supreme Court, reduced the amount of nuclear arms by signing a deal with the Soviet Union, made progress towards the end of the Cold War, got the Soviet Union to leave Afghanistan, released the Air Traffic Controllers who went on strike, the rescue mission in Grenada, the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1986, and the Strategic Defense Strategy Initiative of 1983. In 1981, President Reagan signed the Economic Recovery Tax Act . This act created incentives for saving and small businesses, the ability to expense depreciable property, and reductions in individual income tax rates (Reaganomics). During his time as president, Reagan nominated the first woman to the Supreme Court . Her name was Sandra Day O’Connor and she was approved 99-0 in the Senate with one absentee senator (Ronald Reagan 's big impact on the Supreme Court). Another success of Reagan was the signing of the INF treaty with Mikhail Gorbachev (Bosch). It was the first treaty to ever reduce nuclear weapons. This treaty was part of Reagan’s progress to helping end the Cold War. In 1988, President Reagan signed an agreement that got the Soviet Union out of Afghanistan. This was the first time in 33 years that the Red Army left without conflict and effectively ended a war (The Achievements and Failures of the Reagan Presidency). Reagan did something

Ronald Reagan used his power during the INF treaty in many ways. Some of the best examples of this was when he took an active role in involvement of the treaty outlines such as the “Zero Proposal”. One of the most important ways I found comparing the two Presidents though was through their Soviet-USA summits. President Reagan met with the Soviet General Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev to hold talks on diplomatic relations and the arms race. Reagan believed that a personal relationship among leaders was the necessary first step to breaking down the barriers of tension that existed between the two countries. Reagan had one goal going into this Geneva Summit and that was to convince Gorbachev that America desired peace above everything else. He described
Reagan was for government intervention in foreign policy which was not so good for America’s allowance; on the contrary, this intervention, his hardcore stance against the Soviet Union, and its economic collapse helped end the cold war (Schultz, 2014). Reagan revamped up the military programs that had been cut in the past and he increased the number of America weapons to a point the Soviet Union could not combat this effort. He reached an agreeance with the leader of the Soviet Union to eliminate thousands of nuclear missiles. In turn, they pulled troops from Afghanistan helping boost Russia to stop spreading communism. This was a win at the time for all involved but had a deadly future for the U.S. no one could see coming.
Despite what people may say, Reagan tried to keep out of military confrontation, and his “Peace Through Strength” was not developed to attain peace by going to war, but to avoid any future (nuclear) wars. His “Peace Through Strength” has influenced the current president, Donald Trump, as Trump has “promised us a
Another immense accomplishment for Ronald Reagan was his crucial role in transforming the world stage with the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Our world is changing gradually bringing these changes into people’s daily life styles; consequently, a person’s potential to embrace these challenges and revolutionize with them has become an important factor to analyze people’s way to prepare themselves for the future. According to Gilbert Valdez, educational technology, especially computers and computer-related peripherals, have grown tremendously and have permeated all areas of our lives. It is incomprehensible that anyone today would argue that banks, hospitals, or any industry should use less technology. Most young people cannot understand arguments that schools should limit technology use. For them, use of the Internet, for example, plays a major role in their relationships with their friends, their families, and their schools. Teens and their parents generally think that use of the Internet enhances the social life and academic work of teenagers. Nonetheless, not all people has the possibility of changing towards a technological society due to the lack of personal progress through technology, and the misunderstanding of this tool is leading future professionals to become technologically dependant; in other words to rely only on technology without considering the possible consequences that it might have on future professionals development and their educational background. The overuse of educational technology has been growing over the recent years due to the emergent technological developments around the world; however, it can be solved by searching for a new balance between the uses of technology within education.
One of the most widely used technologies is the Internet, or also known as the World Wide Web. “In August 1981 about 200 computers hosted Web servers. By July 1998 there were over 36 million Web servers, that are hosts to approximately 150 million people” (Strauss). The Internet proves to be very beneficial to education, since students have unlimited access to millions of websites with tons of information. There are only so many newspapers, journals and magazines that you can find in libraries or subscribe to. Therefore, the Internet offers an unlimited pile of information that students can always have. Moreover, students are enriched with the most current information in any subject, along with regular updates. Students are able to use the Internet anytime of day, as long as they have a computer at hand. The research process will not have to end when the school day is over (Wissick, 82).
...isputes, but Reagan refused to concede the right of the United States to intervene militarily if it deemed necessary. Despite this disagreement, Gorbachev and Reagan reached many agreements on issues regarding disarmament and sent a message to the world that the two biggest conflicting powers had ended their near-40 year dispute.

ICT's vital role cannot be ignored in increasing attainment to education as well as preparing better quality education (Gutterman et al, 2009). Education has not been untouched by the pervasive impact of information and communication technology. No doubt that ICT has influenced the quantity and quality of teaching, learning, and research. ICT, in concrete terms can improve teaching and learning via its engaging and interactive content; and it can prepare real opportunities for individualized teaching. ICT has the potential to speed up, enhance, and deepen skills. It motivates and engages students in learning. It also helps to connect school experiences to practices and to develop economic viability for future
Technology has had a large impact on the field of education. The proliferation of multimedia resources and limitless amounts of information available through the Internet has fundamentally affected the learning process. Students no longer search through cards and stacks for magazine articles; almost everything is at the click of a finger. Multimedia resources are increasingly utilized in the classroom to help instruct students. Some professors are making conscious efforts to use new technology, so as to introduce and familiarize their students with it. The significance of technology in education is now being elevated to a new plateau. Education through the Internet, the great equalizer, may make it more widely distributed through the phenomenon of online courses. It is the thesis of this paper that online courses are not an effective means to educate traditional undergraduate college aged students (people from 18-22 years old).

Today, it is so clear to see many significant changes in the education around the world because of computer. Almost all schools and universities have become involved with computer’s system to provide an appropriate environment for students to study or prepare for classes. For example, Oklahoma State University provides a crucial program called Desire to Learn (D2L) which is an online website made for teachers to post assignments, grades, and other notes related to the courses. And this program is so helpful because it gives students a nice chance to study from home, participate on announced events, or even avoid students from getting in trouble such as receiving email when weather conditions are not good to attend classes. Moreover, in the past students and researchers used to face difficulties to get information and data related to subject. However, nowadays computer makes it easier because of the gigantic data and information that computer has. Computer has a revolutionary influence in enhancing our education.
ICT have become commonplace entities in all aspects of life. Across the past twenty years the use of ICT has fundamentally transformed the practices and procedures of nearly all forms of exertion within business and governance. Education is a very socially focused activity and quality education has traditionally been connected with strong teachers having high degrees of personal contact with learners. The use of ICT in education lends itself to more student-centred learning settings. But with the world moving swiftly into digital media and information, the role of ICT in education is becoming more and more essential and this importance will continue to grow and develop in the 21st century.
