Friendship might be called as a special kind of concern for your friend, a concern which might reasonably be understood as a kind of love (Helm, 2005). All of us have friends, whatever we are poor or rich. Friendship is very important to us, some of our friends may listen to us when we feel disappointed or happy, we share with our feelings each other; some others may take care of us when we are sick; some of them may live with us side by side. But as Sparks says, "Technology offers great capabilities to keep in touch with people, but it also can keep us from really getting to know someone"( Neuber, 2007). Friendship can not only make us live better and happier, but also can save more girls live. So, it is never too late to making friends.
Several days before, I received a call from my close friend Zhangting. At that time, I was on class and I did not answer it. Then I sent a message to her, and wrote that do you want to say something to me? I am on class now. Then she answered, yes, of course. I am very happy today and I want to tell you something important. I knew what she wanted to say and I answered that I think it is a really important thing for you and for me, right? She wrote, Of course, now, happy birthday! My dear! I have known her for 6 years, what a simple word I said she can understand it, so do I. I think, friendship is different the love between girls and boys. We share our happiness and sadness with each other, and we can understand each other easily.
Do your parents take care of you when you are ill? I think they will, friends will do that as well. If my friends know that I am ill, some of them will spend several days staying with me in the hospital, some will buy medicines to me and some others will buy some f...

... our life. A true friend will do everything good for their friends: the highest good, which is that they might know God and love Him with all of their heart, soul, and mind (Roper, 2013).

Story: “Of Mice and Men” by John Steinbeck ( a story about the hardships of two diverse men and their friendship)
With friends, our lives will be better, our days will be full of joy, and our unhappiness will fade away. Friends will take care when we are in need as we will support them in everything with the best we have. Life with friends will always give us wonderful memories that we will never forget for the rest of our days. Works Cited Viorst, Judith. A. How close are you to your best friend? Do your friends have an influence on your actions or decisions? In the fictional book Of Mice and Men, by John Steinbeck, the friendship between the characters is definitely important, or potentially vital to not only survival in some cases, but happiness as well. Depending on who you are. This is shown many times throughout the book. It is shown with George and Lennie, with Candy, and with Crooks. In all cases, their goal is to succeed, and be part of the dream, or goal of having some land of their own. Friendship brings people together, changes people's actions (usually for the better), and gives people courage to stand up for themselves.
By definition a friend is a person who provides assistance and support. We have different groups of friends for different purposes in our lives. Although there are many different categories of friends, Marion Winik author of “What are Friends For?” mentions that some of the more common groups consist of the faraway, work, family, and former friends (132). We keep our friends because we value their loyalty, communication, support, and dependability.
Friendship could be named one of the most important things on Earth. Taking just a couple seconds you could probably name significant things in your life. Some of the biggest discovery’s or inventions have come from a couple of people having ideas and combining them and becoming friends to create said invention or discovery. One huge historic friendship that sticks out to me is Lewis and Clark. Another genre of friendships could be a fictional friendship from a book, for example Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain. Then a friendship in modern life would be Chance The Rapper and Donald Glover. The reasons for friendship are to enjoy yourself, and tell them anything. Like venting and getting things off your
The movie being analyzed is the Sandlot. The relationship between the two main characters is a friendship, which begins with one boy who is desperate for friends and another who is searching for The Sandlot’s last teammate. The friendship between Benny and Small’s is an accurate depiction of the development of friendship in real life. In the movie, Scotty Smalls (Smalls) moves to a new neighborhood. One of his new neighbors happens to be the best baseball player in the neighborhood, Benny, who eventually teaches Smalls how to catch and throw so that the team has a ninth player. What begins as filling a baseball position eventually leads to a strong bond between the two main characters. Throughout the summer, the team plays baseball, goes swimming, plays baseball, goes to the fair, and plays baseball. A dog known as “The Beast” lives behind the fence of The Sandlot. The Beast is said to have eaten every baseball and person that has ever been on the other side of that fence, so when the boys hit Small’s stepfather’s signed baseball over the fence, they have to come together to retrieve the baseball. In the movie The Sandlot, directed by David M. Evans, the development of the friendship between Scott Smalls and Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez is conveyed through their communication. The Sandlot shows the progression of a friendship and the importance of communication to help a friendship flourish.
From the bedtime stories parents read to their children when they are going to bed, to the books students ready in high school, or the books adults ready have one most common element friendship. The history in the American literature three were many books, essays and songs about great friendships some are still famous and some are lost, in the era where people become friends by following each other on Instagram or sending request on Facebook. Mostly all persons on earth have a best friend and people say that it is hard to fine because a best friend should be some on whom you can always count on and that a person always count on you too. Sometimes having right person as your friends can help you but at the same time if you are in companionship of a bad person it can hurt you too. Who is the bad person and who is the good person is totally up to the person’s personal choice?
I would define friendship as complete trust and love between two people. Many people believe that this kind of behavior is reciprocated between two individuals without any expectations. A friend is someone who also provides you with support and whom you can rely on to celebrate special moments with. A friend also comes with many great attributes; such as loyalty, honesty, compassion, trust, and morality. Today’s friend is viewed as someone who shares happiness, common values, history, and equality with another. For example, Aristotle and Cicero both wrote dialogues about friendship and its significance on mankind. Therefore, the key issues that will be discussed are: their views on the similarities of friendship, the differences between friends,
A friendship is a bond shared with another person, typically of common interests. A friend is honest, loyal, faithful, and trustworthy. It's someone you can share secrets, memories, fears, and dreams with. They stand by you despite arguments or disputes that might arise. Friendships can bring joy, as well as pain; friends want the best for each other, and sometimes sacrifices must be made. In Of Mice and Men, John Steinbeck speaks of the advantages and pitfalls to a friendship.
There are different kinds of friendship, ones that bring about certain goods for each other such as men of business or of some type of exchange. There also exists a state of friendship where pleasure is given, that in this state what is being given are pleasurable things and that each loves what is being given and as such continuous until such qualities cease to come
Friendship is the relationship that helps humans get through everyday life. Without friends people would not have a strong support system or someone to have their backs through difficult situations. Friendship has been seen to be a key component in the development of characters. Directors and authors portray friends as positive influences on characters. Friends are especially important in The Hobbit and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. Bilbo Baggins and Sherlock Holmes experience the benefits of a strong friendships. Through the friendships experienced by both Bilbo and Sherlock new characteristics arise such as the development of emotions and courage.
There are many valuable things in life like family, sports, school but what about friendship? To live life without friendship is something no one should ever go through. Friendship is a necessity to living a successful life. Friendship occurs when someone is a supporter, gives assistance, and is attached to someone all the while genuinely taking care of them when they are hurt (The definition of friend, 1995-2002). A good and healthy friendship can be defined fro individuals as when someone has his or her own support system, a friend being loyal, and will always have genuine and mutual trust.
“The silver friend knows your present and the gold friend knows all of your past dirt and glories. Once in a blue moon there is someone who knows it all, someone who knows and accepts you unconditionally, someone who is there for life.” This is a quote I read once in an article by Jill McCorkle. I wrote it down and posted on my wall. McCorkle’s description of a “gold friend” describes a friendship that I have with a group of girls who mean the world to me.
One of the most important details in a friendship is to never leave or forsake the other. A friend is also loyal, for example in the movie Lord of the Rings, Froto and Sam Wise had a wonderful fellowship. They lived in peace and in one accord. Also in the movie, gandalf sent froto on a mission. Froto was scared and he didn’t want to go on the journey by himself.
Friendships are one of the most important things you can get out of life. It’s something that everyone has to have because without it we would all go insane. Just think if no one talked to each other and we never made friends, this world would be a ticking time bomb. Studies say human need friendships and love to survive. So friendship is a big part of your life.
