Books are still important and whether in school or at work, people are relying on books to be informed and get knowledge, however, internet continues to expand and the number of internet user is growing rapidly. People are getting quick information from internet than books and with this rapid growing of internet users, how one could make sure information that is on website is accurate? It is important for users to make sure information that comes from internet is accurate otherwise it would mislead people. It is true anyone can put information on website, however not all websites should be used especially when one is conducting school research wok or any work that would be used by the public. Issues with accuracy of information on website led schools to have a guideline for students about what website to use when conducting a research. For example Ashford University requires students to use Ashford online library when conducting a research or final paper. In this paper, the author would also focus on accuracy of online website and steps that needed to follow when one is writing paper. This paper would focus on analyzing the blog, the video and podcast that would be used to help readers understand some of social problems that the world is facing in this modern time. This paper would also analyze factors that need to be considered when reviewing internet sources for use in studying accuracy of online information.

There are different types of websites and when using internet to support a paper it is important to check the authenticity of the website and the background of the authors. The use of internet is increasing rapidly from educational, governmental, personal and commercial websites. The plurality of websites led to inaccuracy of some that do not provide accurate information for users, however if users checked the website accuracy, some errors could have been avoided. Researchers must conduct evaluation for accurate research by checking the background of the authors and the topic, the authenticity of the website, the purpose of the website and who the expected users are.
In this paper I will examine both Peter Singer’s and Onora O 'Neill 's positions on famine relief. I will argue that O’Neill’s position is more suitable than Singer’s extreme standpoint. First I will, present O’Neill’s argument. I will then present a possible counter-argument to one of my premises. Finally I will show how this counter-argument is fallacious and how O’Neill’s argument in fact goes through.
Living in the Southern United States during eighteenth century was a difficult time for African-Americans. Majority of them were slaves who received manipulation, sexual abuse and brutally whips to the spin. They were treated this way in order to stop them from gaining hope, knowledge and understanding of the world. Some African Americans managed to obtain these qualities from books and use them to escape from slavery. Frederick Douglass, an abolitionist who wrote an autobiography, from which the excerpt "Learning to Read and Write" explains how he developed literacy. In the excerpt, an African American slave banned from learning to read and write, breaks the law in an attempt to free his mind from the restricted beliefs of his master. One significant idea portrayed from Douglass's ordeal is that reading and writing is a vital skill that benefits humanity.
Ever since I was a child, I've never liked reading. Every time I was told to read, I would just sleep or do something else instead. In "A Love Affair with Books" by Bernadete Piassa tells a story about her passion for reading books. Piassa demonstrates how reading books has influenced her life. Reading her story has given me a different perspective on books. It has showed me that not only are they words written on paper, they are also feelings and expressions.

You should read the book Found, because it is mysterious, characters are lovable, also it is unpredictable. While reading this book, I was excited to sit down also read. Most books do not please me, I am a picky reader.

My relationship with books and reading has not been the greatest adventure for me thus far. I will not say that all my experience has been terrible but for the most part not that great. I know for me it started when I was little and unfortunately it has carried to my adulthood.

Now that we are living in an ever changing world, technology is viewed as the most resourceful tool in keeping up with the pace. Although technology has improved the way we communicate and find information for research, the information is not always valid. Unfortunately, for those of us who use the internet for shopping, research, or reading articles of personal interest the information is not treated the same as a your magazine or book. While such literature is reviewed by an editorial staff, internet literature or information can be published by anyone. In order to reap the full benefit of having the use of technology for any purpose, there are five basic criteria’s one must keep in mind as an evaluating tool for deciding whether or not the particular website is a reliable source for information.

Mainstream media such as television, radio, newspapers were the primary source of reliable information before the epoch of the internet. However, the situation has changed. The evolution of modern technology in the world today has led to the continuous increase in the methods of practicing journalism. Social and technological advancements have not only improved the pace and content of this field’s practice, but has extended its genre to online or cybernetic journalism. (Project for Excellence in Journalism, 2007). News websites most of which are owned by major media companies and alternative websites with user generated content such as social networking sites and blogs are gaining grounds in the journalism field of practice. (Nel, n.d). One of the chief forces affecting the practice of journalism nowadays is online citizen journalists. Nel (n.d) defines citizen journalism as “individuals playing an active role in the process of collecting, reporting, analysing and disseminating news and information”.
