Illegal immigration is a major problem which most of the developed countries face in the current economy, and it has been major political problem for the political parties in America (republicans and democrats) and over years each party has a different agenda to discuss the problem. Illegal immigration can be defined as a movement of people from a source country to the destination country without any legal documents and violates destination countries immigration laws. People have moved across lands over years to escape a war situation or to get better facilities in a different country. Countries have defined immigration laws to restrict people to enter their land without proper documentation as illegal immigration social and time constraint issues is areas such as social welfare, health care, voting rights, economy and human rights. Illegal immigrant is a person who is not a national of resident country and has entered into the country without any legal documents or residing with expired documents. These illegal immigrants though provide threat to country's security by entering illegally, but they also bring along manifold benefits. America is a very good example of illegal immigration and presents how illegal immigration been beneficial and detrimental to countries economy, culture and society.
Illegal Immigration can occur for various reasons, but one of the main causes over years has been civil wars that made people cross borders of other countries. Poverty is another reason where people migrate from other countries legally or illegally to higher paid jobs, better living conditions and one of the main examples of these are thousands of people who apply for H-1B (highly skilled workers) every year to legally work for a company...

In the U. S today, the approximated population of undocumented immigrants stands at averagely 11 million. Therefore, this has created a hot debate in Congress about the action to take over the undocumented immigrants. Those opposed to illegal immigrants suggest that, their stay in the United States effects U.S citizens on the job market negatively . In addition, illegal immigrants are viewed in certain quarters as takers in the sense that illegal immigrants benefit more from public resources than the american-born citizens of the U.S. However, the reality is that immigrants contribute positively to the U.S economy and pay significantly into the system compared to what they send back home. In addition, the contributions associated with undocumented immigrants involve sustaining the solvency of the SSTF (Social Security Trust Fund). In this sense, the use of cost benefit analysis by those supporting immigration restrictions are unfounded and do not reflect the facts on the ground (Nadadur 1037). The opponents of undocumented immigrants believe that having more undocumented immigrants in the U.S is costly; however, there are no solid reasons to prove that undocumented immigrants are a burden to the treasury. Instead, the undocumented immigrants play an important role in boosting the economy and in particular by taking up jobs those citizens perceive as demeaning because the money they earn goes back to the economy through taxes resulting from consumer spending when they send money back home.

One of the most recent outbreaks in America, is illegal immigration. An illegal immigrant is a foreigner who enters the U.S. without an entry or immigrant visa, especially a person who crosses the border by avoiding inspection or who overstays the period of time allowed as a visitor, tourist, or businessperson; a foreigner who has entered or resides in a country unlawfully or without the country's authorization.(dictionary.com). The effect of illegal immigration impacts America directly dealing with: environmental ordinances, social and political concepts, and economic pursuits. Illegal immigration generates insecurity about America’s borders, carries economic and fiscal costs, and risks the creation of an isolated underclass. The prevalence of illegal immigration also generates disturbing social and cultural tensions, and causes a decline in Americans’ support for immigration more generally.
